I also think you’ve taken some incredible and inspiring steps to destroy a really powerful, almost demon like addiction: alcoholism. Much like music, psychedelics can be therapeutic in the right circumstances. Unfortunately many demonize natural healing or health alternatives that stray away from the big Pharma industry. Sad but true. 😮

As a drummer the best DEATH albums are Human, Symbolic and Sound of perseverance.

I love promark. I have been using the 5B American hickory with nylon tips or acorn tips without nylon ever since I started drumming around 1999. I remember getting a free pair with my drum set purchase. Whether im playing traditional or matched grip, they just feel so good in your hands. I also love Gene. He is such a humble down to earth dude. One of my favorite drummers of all time.

Gene Hoglan is the reason why I started practicing like crazy when I was 15. His drumming was one of the (many) a ha moments in my life, when I found out I'm not able to play what he played. So.....sit down and practice until you're able to nail it.
.....and then came Mike Portnoy..... 😱
