Hey there! I am currently working as pharmacy technician and doing certification course in data analyst. I got an offer for CRC role. I was thinking of going for it and hopefully I can switch later into research analyst. Do you have any advice on that?
ОтветитьWhat about, specifically “Clinical trials design and mgmt admin”? There is a certification for this title, but I am not finding job postings for examples. There are many abbreviations for varied postings. Does this fall under CTM?
ОтветитьThank you so much for providing these free resources. I'm wondering if you would think this would he applicable to CCRP exam? It seems like it is based off what I've been watching you discuss so far but wanted to ask if there are maybe other resources you'd recommend?
ОтветитьWell done prof!

ОтветитьCould I qualify an interview for CRA position after going through this entire video?
ОтветитьI just accepted a regulatory position at a local hospital organization in their research institute. I’m excited to learn all of the tools of the trade and move up to being a coordinator and eventually site director/CRA level. What recommendations would you have for me? (Background is military, and working on M.S in medical science)
ОтветитьHi Dan,
I graduated with a biomedical degree in clinical research from Boston university, however I been working as a polymer scientist for 7 years and I want to go into clinical research. Do you think I have a chance to get a job as a CRA? Should I take a CRA certificate? Or will my experience be enough? What do you recommend? Thanks Dan! Hope to hear a response from you!
Been in clinical research now for 14+ yrs and "accidentally" stumbled into it back in 2008 after coming off maternity leave. Even after all these yrs I still have some knowledge gaps so loving your vid.
Ответить$3-6B now to go from pre- to post- market
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what the book is called? I missed it at the beginning.
ОтветитьThe video isn't time-stamped anymore or there are some technical issues?
ОтветитьI've got the book, I'm almost done with my GCP . Thank You for all the knowledge you share with us! I hope to find a job soon
ОтветитьI just started a CRC role this week and I've been watching this video over the last few days to reinforce what I've been learning in my training. Super helpful!
ОтветитьDo you offer any free certificates? Thanks Dan
ОтветитьWow honestly these are the moments I forgo every bad thing about the Internet and see it as truly a miracle. I just completed my masters working in pre clinical research and going into the typical PhD route but started to feel like perhaps a career in clinical research is equally as fulfilling given I had a bit of experience as an undergrad, but I still felt like it’s not my place, and here I am now making coffee and feeling like I just started a new master’s. Thank YOU thank YOU will be commenting again when I hopefully land my first step in this field and you will be acknowledged
ОтветитьHello Dan...where is your location?
I am presently studying to be a CRA and will like to have an hands on experience

Ответитьplease where can i get your book
Ответитьhey, Dan, I am a doctor by profession with a gap of a few years in practice and I was always interested in clinical research. Also have moved to another country with my kid and husband. I want to start my profession. That's why I need your advice. Do you think I should do some master's courses in university and then go for a job or online diploma from any source that is sufficient to get the job? plz give me you valuable advice.
ОтветитьThe most comprehensive course ever. I Read the book and now watching this video to reinforce my learning helps a lot.
Thanks Dan
Can I use your book to prepare for the CCRP certification in 2023?
Ответитьtysm for this video! very helpful for new CRAs!
ОтветитьI would like to take a course with clinicalresearchfasttrack. Do you have any idea about it? I have a BS in life science.
Is it better for me to get an internship or take the course?
Can someone please tell me if will be able to write Medical research paper after this course?
I mean is it for MDs or other medical professionals ?
With a Pharm D can you also pass all these steps just like an RN?
Have you seen Pharm D enter the CRA world?
we are trained for vital signs and contrary indicated medications as well as adverse events/ side effects too.
Hello Dan, I am so great full for you doing these helpful videos. I wanted to email you do you have an email address to reach you at? Or do you prefer to text?
ОтветитьThe fundamental clinical research knowledge this video bestows upon you is so valuable! Whether you are coming from a place with clinical research experience or not, understanding the clinical research ecosystem will allow you to climb/grow so much faster in this industry! I jumped into this field about 7 months ago and it's crazy how applicable this knowledge is in my every day tasks.
ОтветитьThank you for the video..How about pharmacist getting hired as CRA?
ОтветитьAMAZING video! Thank you so much for this!
Do you think that profession of dental hygienist with a medical university degree can be considered equivalent to a nursing degree ? I am a practicing dental hygienist with bachelor diploma (i am working in dental office for 5 years) and I am also a master of public health. I am apllying to a entry level CRA position and wondering if I have any chance to land this position?
I would like to know your opinion about such a qualifications due to getting a job of CRA.
Good job , thank you for the information
ОтветитьThank you Dan, I am so grateful for this video, right now I’m taking certification of becoming a CRA. My goal is to get in into clinical research industry. Thank you for your help. I’ve been working as a clinical hemodialysis for 7 years. Are you still looking for CRC or entry level in Clinical research?
ОтветитьThank you so much for the guidance that is so very needed and hard to come by. Its been put into an easy to understand format and in easily digestible increments. You sir are a god send! 💖
ОтветитьI passed my CCRC exam today!
ОтветитьHello,
I have been a nurse for over 5 years. I have a foreign degree in Microbiology and a Bachelors in Nursing in the US and also graduating Nurse practitioner school. In the video, you mentioned nurses can start CRA entry level. I have been applying to entry levels CRA jobs and i am yet to get anything. Do you think I need to go for the training? Please advise
What is the most important monitoring visit?
ОтветитьHi Dan thank you so much for this insightful and detailed video!!! I'm completely new to the Clinical Research field, and I'm really excited to get into the industry. I've been working in the Pathology industry as a Medical Laboratory Scientist since 2015/2016 and specialised in Cytology (Cellular Pathology) which includes Molecular Pathology. As you may know the lab can be quite routine and monotonous and runs on a very strict TAT to get results out; but I've been learning alot, including QA and lab management. The Pathology industry is also a place where you have to wait 20 years for your manager to retire before you can move up.... unless your environment allows for development for you to create your own niche....
So I've been watching your videos and doing online GCP courses, preparing for a CRC interview. Most CRC posts that I've seen here in South Africa requires one to have a nursing degree. I've also applied for an in-house CRA post.
Questions:
As a CRC or CRA how much does one need to know about interpreting basic lab results and also on drug pharmacodynamics?
Do you offer any crash courses or can you recommend videos on interpreting basic lab results or drug pharmacodynamics?
The best video on Clinical Research. What a great service. Thanks Dan
ОтветитьAfter obtaining a bachelor degree in clinical medicine is it ideal to go for a master degree in medical research?
ОтветитьCan someone tell me the book I need to buy? I have spent over 4000.00 on a class that I am feeling I wasted. Someone plead help me I am listening to these videos but would love the book too. Thanks
ОтветитьIs it possible to enter the field by solely relying on your course and book or one needs to get certified? I recently graduated from nursing school and wonder how to set foot in the industry. Also do you provide certification? Thanks
Ответить
