Hey there! I am currently working as pharmacy technician and doing certification course in data analyst. I got an offer for CRC role. I was thinking of going for it and hopefully I can switch later into research analyst. Do you have any advice on that?

What about, specifically “Clinical trials design and mgmt admin”? There is a certification for this title, but I am not finding job postings for examples. There are many abbreviations for varied postings. Does this fall under CTM?

Could I qualify an interview for CRA position after going through this entire video?

I just accepted a regulatory position at a local hospital organization in their research institute. I’m excited to learn all of the tools of the trade and move up to being a coordinator and eventually site director/CRA level. What recommendations would you have for me? (Background is military, and working on M.S in medical science)

I graduated with a biomedical degree in clinical research from Boston university, however I been working as a polymer scientist for 7 years and I want to go into clinical research. Been in clinical research now for 14+ yrs and "accidentally" stumbled into it back in 2008 after coming off maternity leave. Even after all these yrs I still have some knowledge gaps so loving your vid.

Wow honestly these are the moments I forgo every bad thing about the Internet and see it as truly a miracle. I just completed my masters working in pre clinical research and going into the typical PhD route but started to feel like perhaps a career in clinical research is equally as fulfilling given I had a bit of experience as an undergrad, but I still felt like it’s not my place, and here I am now making coffee and feeling like I just started a new master’s. hey, Dan, I am a doctor by profession with a gap of a few years in practice and I was always interested in clinical research. Also have moved to another country with my kid and husband. I want to start my profession. That's why I need your advice. Do you think I should do some master's courses in university and then go for a job or online diploma from any source that is sufficient to get the job? plz give me you valuable advice.

Do you think that profession of dental hygienist with a medical university degree can be considered equivalent to a nursing degree ? I am a practicing dental hygienist with bachelor diploma (i am working in dental office for 5 years) and I am also a master of public health. I am apllying to a entry level CRA position and wondering if I have any chance to land this position?

I have been a nurse for over 5 years. I have a foreign degree in Microbiology and a Bachelors in Nursing in the US and also graduating Nurse practitioner school. In the video, you mentioned nurses can start CRA entry level. I have been applying to entry levels CRA jobs and i am yet to get anything. Do you think I need to go for the training? Please advise

Hi Dan thank you so much for this insightful and detailed video!!! I'm completely new to the Clinical Research field, and I'm really excited to get into the industry. I've been working in the Pathology industry as a Medical Laboratory Scientist since 2015/2016 and specialised in Cytology (Cellular Pathology) which includes Molecular Pathology. As you may know the lab can be quite routine and monotonous and runs on a very strict TAT to get results out; but I've been learning alot, including QA and lab management. The Pathology industry is also a place where you have to wait 20 years for your manager to retire before you can move up.... unless your environment allows for development for you to create your own niche....

So I've been watching your videos and doing online GCP courses, preparing for a CRC interview. Most CRC posts that I've seen here in South Africa requires one to have a nursing degree. I've also applied for an in-house CRA post.

Questions:
As a CRC or CRA how much does one need to know about interpreting basic lab results and also on drug pharmacodynamics?
Do you offer any crash courses or can you recommend videos on interpreting basic lab results or drug pharmacodynamics?
