Vizio is terrible lmao but for the price sure I guess 😂
ОтветитьYou're glutton
ОтветитьThat Yamaha RX V385 does not put out 700 watts...it only pushes out 70 watts per channel ..2 channels driven...once you add more then 2 speakers...the watts per channel goes down.
Ответить😂😂😂 Wow!!!
A Good Projector costs $3000.00 plus. At that price the picture Quality is Far inferior to a $2000.00 85" inch Samsung Oled TV.
Today if you are going to use a Projector you have to get a 4K Projector and they are much more expensive than buying a High Quality 85" TV.
Today's Large screen TVs are very immersive. And are much better to watch than a 150" Screen with a far inferior picture.
I don't like anything you did in this Video.
Sony Makes inferior AV Receivers. Denon has much better AV Receivers, as does Yamaha, Pioneer, etc...
Sony makes Excellent TVs but their Speakers and AV Receivers are 2nd rate.
great, our product will make this cost lower😂
ОтветитьThank you for this. Too many guys shilling for equipment, with huge diminishing returns. I spent around 1200 on equipment. Jbl bar 5.1 system(with battery powered satellite speakers, 10 inch powered sub)500 dollars.Wemax Dice, 700 ansi lumen 18080p portable projector( more than bright enough, with proper light control, battery option for backyard viewing, loud built in speakers, 550 dollars. Silver ticket 100 screen m, 169 dollars(bear screen deals ever). So 1319 dollars total, and I can use it with a potable screen. Blu ray, roku, legacy laser disc, legacy vcr player, 75 dollars for all, savers. 100 cables.
So about 1500 before seats and a few decorations, around 700 if you include the mini fridge. And that’s it 2200.
It’s weird, but my bro law spent 6 times as much, but my nephews are always at my house. Playing blu rays of old movies, old laser discs, old tapes, streaming from hbo, and Amazon, my favorite libraries.
My bro law tries to get them to watch new 4k content, but they know my Blu-ray of Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, or a rare laser disc 80s action movie, is where it’s at. And my room gets more use.
I had a bulb-based projector for over 10 years, watching movies on a regular basis, and still have half of advertized bulb hours. So LED or bulb is actually not a big deal for a home setup. IMHO, one should better loor for good native resolution and ANSI Brightness
ОтветитьA word of caution about the Vankyo projector. It only throws 270 lumens. So, it might be OK in a dark basement but not in a room with any outside light coming in.
ОтветитьI am looking to upgrade to a 4K TV, not for the resolution but for the HDR. Anyway, my 1080p TV has a 1080p receiver to go with it. It works fine and sounds great, but I know I can't transmit 4K video through it. The receiver doesn't even have ARC.
So, if I get a 4K Blu-ray player, can I plug that directly into the TV and use the receiver purely for 5.1 audio over Toslink? I know I won't be getting Atmos, but traditional 5.1 is still fine for me. Will the TV's Toslink connection also transmit audio from the Blu-ray player, or would I have to connect that separately to the receiver over SPDIF or something?
Spending hundreds on a new receiver just for HDCP 2.2 doesn't interest me when I have a perfectly functional receiver already.
I wish mainstream media went to 1440p (or 2.5k) before making the jump to 4k. I love my 1440p monitor and I would love making that intermediate step on my projector as well, instead of going full 4k.
ОтветитьHonestly we cant get even a sofa for 500$
ОтветитьI recently got that screen from the 2nd option. Funny part is I don't even use it to watch stuff. When we watch stuff with my little Nebula portable projector we usually just project onto the double doors in our bedroom. I actually use it for the background of my Twitch stream. Having a cheap portable projector means I can just have it next to my desk hooked up to my computer as a 4th monitor projecting behind me. That avoids the claustrophobic nature & setup/takedown annoyances of a green screen. I use it like a nice middle ground between the no green screen nerd room look and still having the dynamic backgrounds one might want from a green screen setup. And if I wanted to entirely key out my background out all I have to do is project green & zoom my camera in just enough so only the screen is in frame behind me.
ОтветитьJust go OLED
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you!
ОтветитьIam building a budget home theater system right now i have a budget 1080p vankyo 630w projector with wifi for screen mirroring it the upgrade from vankyo 630 and a 120inch screen and a xbox one s gaming system and a 1080p roku streaming stick iam about to a onn dolby atmos sound bar from Walmart the projector is full 1080p my seating is a couch and two love seats and some theater chairs the projector was $ 230 dollars from Walmart the xbox one s was only $ 125 dollars because seller thought it was broken it only needed to be upgraded the seats and couch came from a family member the onn sound bar is only $ 299 dollars
ОтветитьI am currently running a roku ultra to my projector with the same vizio 5.1 surround system you are using in the demo. I have a Wimius projector. I use a 30 ft. aux cord from my soundbar under my screen to the projector on a shelf in the back of my room. From your video I could move my roku near the soundbar and use the switch for a similar set up you are using for the cost of the switch and long hdmi cord. Am I looking at an appreciable sound upgrade with that or will it basically be about the same?
ОтветитьEpson Home Cinema 880 is an excellent budget projector.
ОтветитьYou do installation? am interested
ОтветитьGet the Yamaha, and add great speakers for the front, center, and eventually the sub.
ОтветитьI've got a Vankyo V600 for my budget setup... works well. Got a cheap Logitech 5.1 surround sound speaker system and a pulldown screen... came in around $600
ОтветитьI’m starting out and trying to get my first budget projector. I was trying to decide between the Vankyo 630 you suggested vs the Optoma HD28HDR. How does it compare? I wonder how much of a projector do I want to start with, and what benefits are there really by paying a little more. But I don’t want to spend more than 500- 600 on one.
Ответитьi recomend do not use HDMI , because the reciever will be break and there is no repare stuff,
ОтветитьUnbelievable, you built these massive theater with crappy and cheap projector and receiver. Wow!
ОтветитьMe watching this video knowing i won't even have an house nor an home theater: :D
Ответитьhello great video, thank you. I am working on my home theatre and having issues on hiding my HDMI cable from the projector to AVR. my basement was a finished one as I bought it, and not able to fish HDMI cable because the ceiling is finished with Drywall.
if I am not able to bring my HDMI cable from the projector to AVR, how can I deal with a cat 6 cable? do you have any updated review videos of that product? how to connect, etc? much appreciate.
Great video! What’s the difference between these and atoms?
Ответитьeasy with a dry wall, but in Europe we mostly have concrete walls :(
ОтветитьVery helpful video. Do you have specs for 5.2.1set up as well?
ОтветитьBuy a 4K compatible amp with a full HD projector... 😂😂
ОтветитьWhy waste money on brand new components when you could get so much better on the used market for not alot of money! Those soundbar setups are shite... 😝😝👎👎
ОтветитьMonoprice sells one of the best affordable 5.1 speaker systems (around $200) for the whole set. You'll need to add an a/v receiver.
Ответитьgreat video but what recliner do you have? it looks super comfortable!
ОтветитьThumbnail says “under $500”... title says “starting at $500”. Go back to school. Thumbs down, no point in clicking play.
ОтветитьThank you for your time like the video i got a lote of info out of it :)
ОтветитьGreat video! I’m just curious, if Ethernet is transferring data at 1Gbps, how can it transfer the 4K 60hz image along with all the sound data to go with it when you need a high speed hdmi cable to do that which I believe start at 18Gbps? Am I missing something? If you or any viewers are able to answer that question that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
ОтветитьThere is so much uneducated bullshit in this video...
ОтветитьExcellent video

That was awesome. Thanks
ОтветитьDude, is that a confederate flag pillow on your sofa?
Ответитьi am interested in UST projectors, specifically the Xiaomi ones, any thoughts on those?
ОтветитьI want to do so bad
ОтветитьSold bunch on projectors on mercari
All you need is a 2500 or higher lumens to get a clear picture
That infared transmitter was pretty sweet. I’ve never seen anything like that. I e got a functional, but unfinished, theater room I’ve been working on for years. It’s painted, got equipment, just needs polishing up (shelves, hide the wires, hang the tv, etc). Good video and thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьGreat video but does the v630 projector support HDCP?
ОтветитьLove the vid bro! Hey- sounds like maybe your audio gain is a bit high and clipping. Are you having to jack your audio way down in post?
ОтветитьHow did you handle the heat from the receiver in the closet? I would love to do this, but my receiver, htpc, and other components generate too much heat for a non ventilated closet.
Ответить
