Probs had too much to drink but wanted to say, really great content. I also feel like it's simple enough to conclude that time must be a human construct and is somewhat easily explained away as such, through consideration of some basic examples.
For instance - velocity, reaction rate, acceleration etc. Since the window of observation is arbitrary and determined by the observer, yet any other physical characteristic of what is being measured cannot be influenced by the observer then surely the measure applied to that window must be a construct of the observer.
To solidify this point; the only way one could measurably affect the reaction rate of a chemical reaction is to either introduce a catalyst, alter the temperature, pressure etc, which are all well-known physical constructs; yet altering the time-window of the reaction being measured has no effect on the physical properties of the reaction itself. Surely then, we can only conclude that time must be a construct separate to the phenomenon being observed

Stretches in relativity occur at least mathematically, because light (regardless of our measure of it's velocity) can only traverse a certain distance per unit of time. However, this phenomenon would surely be the same now matter how far I stretch the measurable period i.e. I can alter the unit of time over which I measure the distance that light can traverse (through a given medium) but this value does not change unless I alter some non-human construct of the observable window. Sure then, time is not a property of the speed of light it is only the way through our understanding that we are able to quantify it's intrinsic physical properties.
To solidify - in biology, the eventual degradation of an individual cell is not time-dependent but dependent on physical factors which can be manipulated through medicinal treatment. More broadly, we then may redefine age or at least our subjective understanding thereof as a controllable value relative to our ability to manipulate the biological changes which determine it's value.

Time does not exist, it's emergent. It's just a way to measure when things move relative to each other. If there is nothing, there is no time. The only reason there is an invention called time is because there are "things" that move relative to each other.

From my alleged mind I recall that Einstein got his ideas from Planck and others, then struggled to tweak them to be his own.  He claimed time is the 4th dimension? Supposedly there must be more, as many as 10? Time has no dimensions so it cannot be a dimension. The future (forward) does not  exist but it will. The past (backward) does not exist but it did. And the event, future to past, happens instantaneouly. So our reality, where we exist, is an infinitesimally thin plane. If it is stationary then the future constantly approaches.......at the speed of .....time. Or the plane is not stationary but approaches the future at the speed of...... time. So, relatively speaking (pun intended) everything in the plane of existence has no relevance to time. Dimensionally speaking (pun intended) of course. So nothing exists. And everything I wrote is now the past.  Except for those who read it tomorrow........which does not exist.....but it will. This message will be continued in the 5th dimension where the plane is infinitely thick.....see you there.......wait for it, be patient......it takes time......

Time is just a way to measure our existence and movement thru space, relative to other celestial bodies (i.e.the sun). Time exists, like a meter exists, artificially.

Time is imaginary. Basically what we have in the universe is three dimensional space with matter and energy contained therein. And we have motion of matter and energy within those three dimensions. Our perception of time is simply our perception of motion. But matter and energy within the universe does not always move through space in the same direction or the same velocity. Thus we have invented time in order to lend some regularity to those motions, thus making our daily lives more orderly and predictable, both of which enhance our survival.
Thus I posit that rather than think of velocity as being defined as distance divided by time (v= d/t), it is more correct to think of time as being DEFINED as distance divided by velocity (t=d/v). Velocity (through space) is the more fundamental of the two variables. It is tangible, and thus is more fundamental than what we have come to call "time". Thinking of it this way simplifies many concepts that would otherwise be counterintuitive. For instance, where there is no velocity (of anything) then there is no time. I can personally imagine a place where all velocity ceases (like due to an intense gravity field) much more readily than I can imagine a place without time. It's all how you think about it.

The premise that any entity moves in time is wrong. As time passes, the entire universe evolves to a new condition and because of chaos that occurs in all processes, this evolution cannot be reversed. The entirety of creation changes with every step of time and this past existence cannot be accessed again or even any future situation be exactly predicted. The notion of cycles (like planetary movements to produce sunrise and sunset), induce us to assume that the future is predictable.

Perhaps we should change the term "space-time" to position-time because it does not take sequence into account. Sequence-change is what we really mean by time. If sequence-change could not exist before space-time began, it could not have happened at all.

Time is a measure of moments from one event to the next, so no events means no time, but there were and will always be events because there's no such thing as "nothing" if energy cannot be created or destroyed yet cycles as it expands then there's always something. Energy becomes matter through vibrations of energy which are virtual subatomic particles. Henceforth, this could be considered a "timed event". The question of time may be only a matter of the observer, or observers, but, yes, I think time is still just a concept.

I don’t buy this business about time. Dr. Penrose had defined the vibrating energy quanta of which all entities are composed as “the fundamental clocks of the universe”. As I understand it, a sub-atomic particle is actually a wave form, i.e., a vibrating “discrete packet of energy”. Consider, a particle “asserts itself into reality by its proactive vibrating or “movement”. It vibrates, changing from one energy state to another and back, continuously. This is an assertion of form and function within the context of materiality. Were these particles not to exist as such, by what would they “be”? If we see a cup on a table, we see that it exists…and still exists…and still exists, etc., as a product of the continuing assertion of its component parts, the sub-atomic particles. So, because these particles cannot be in both a low and high energy state at once, but change progressively from the former to the latter and back, there is duration and thus time. Entropy I suppose enters the picture to give this progression of time a direction. Well, this is structural and has nothing to do with our perceptions which we could not have anyway were there not the phenomenon of time. It is a ridiculous notion.

So time cannot be emergent. The proactive means of existent of sub-atomic particles is at the very root of material being, its very foundation. It is structural to materiality. Why would anyone speculate about such a thing?

Time does not exist, what exists is our brain that memorizes the before, the now and the after by a scale of beginning, middle and end. If you ask a stone about time it doesn't know, if you ask a tree it says it doesn't exist. But the brain memorizes the before, now and after if there is a change of atoms in their starting place. Changing the starting place and then going to another place does not mean that time exists. But the brain believes so to differentiate things from its stopped state.

TIME DOES NOT EXIST, it’s a measure of movement. The clock moves, the sun moves, and this is how we create (in our minds) a way of placement IN SPACE.

The 4th dimension is the inverse of our 3rd dimension. In the 3rd dimension we have unlimited space and can move through that space with an artificial perception of placement in time. In the 4th dimension there is unlimited time and the soul / consciousness can move through it with an artificial perception of space.

Conscious beings exist at both levels. The soul / consciousness is not bound by the limitations of space and movement just like the body is not bound by the limitations of time movement. It’s two sides of the same coin.

The concept of time has been debated by scientist / physicist frequently, but if you apply simply common sense to their arguments it become easy to understand facts about our reality.

This concept presents the eternal nature of our existence and is truly liberating. It removes the shackles and fear of death thereby freeing the soul and body to realize it’s true purpose / potential. I could deeply elaborate here but I believe the best advice I can give is that people recognize that choice is the true meaning of life. We must choose between selfishness (a single consciousness) OR selflessness (a harmony of multiple consciousness.)

Think about it and then choose wisely.

Time does not flow otherwise we would see the movement of it. Time does not have a direction or an arrow. Clocks have nothing to do with time; they are not sentient devices. Entropy has nothing to do with time which is static. And till today there is no definition of time.
