Its amazing how every inch of the mower is used, very nice 👌
ОтветитьMighty mowers grouper 8s handy in dry year on insurance we run tractor run out of yard here I ask about insurance they told me once you have public liability on farm I was covered
ОтветитьLovely outfit and very well presented
ОтветитьGreat vid Phil and good honest review How long did it to knock that 38 acres remember back in the late eighty's cutting 40 acres with a Massey Ferguson 165 and 188 with 2 five foot 6 mowers was a big job only butterflies in the fields them times were flying 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьGreat work with the drone some great shots
ОтветитьLow levels of N means your crop stresses quickly so in an attempt to stay alive, the plant sends up a stem with a seedhead to reproduce if the main plant dies. This i see is going to be a huge disadvantage of using lower notrogen levels going forward as quality will suffer drastically. Organic lads will say that in time clover will fix N so thats how they keep quality in a sward. If you have a chance in a field apply extra N on a few runs and see which part will grow better quality, and then try put figures on the N savings, the lower yields and subsequently the lower performance of livestock from lower quality feed!
Great videos as always, but one needs more hp to drive them butterflies!!
A lot of second cuts seem to be like that, consequence of a long dry spell i think.
ОтветитьHi Phil keep the grouper u should try u fusion in light crop in 30ft row u be surprised
ОтветитьYou’ll have to sell the 3690 Phil the mowers make more sense
ОтветитьCheers for the mention Phil I was the young lad that landed with the box
ОтветитьVery envious of your grass, we are burnt up here
ОтветитьHow do you like the fan to keep you cool
ОтветитьReason for the seed heads is because of drought - the grass becomes stressed due to lack of water and heads out as a means of survival
ОтветитьWould recommend to bale within a couple of hours to keep some moisture in the bales
ОтветитьGrass,short, stress of some sort
ОтветитьGet the auld lad to spend the money. Its only dear the day you buy. Saving time is money well spent. Another great video btw.
ОтветитьClass video again Phil 👍
ОтветитьI hope you do well with the cattle sales and with any luck diesel prices come down a bit (wishful thinking on the diesel part). And with the time savings if you do get them next year your father will have plenty jobs lined up for you with all that extra time on your hands 😂
Ответитьid go with groupers phil,u get a catchy year weather wise alot of farmers want it dropped in 30s and lifted, cant rely on irish weather 😂
ОтветитьCan imagine the hot weather had a lot to do with the stem seemed to put a lot of grass under pressure
ОтветитьHeath stress made it shot out
ОтветитьHi Phil,
Sorry to hear about the vintage silage day being cancelled over insurance.
Not sure if its applicable to yourselves but if the people that wanted to go and watch the day were to be remained in a vehicle like a bus or something would the bus insurance not be used instead of public liability insurance?
Again I'm no expert on these sort of thing so research will be needed. Either way I hope things work out will for yous.
Thanks for sharing all the things you do!
ОтветитьWhen r ye going to pick up the deawoo digger
ОтветитьGreat video phil great review
ОтветитьCracking video Phil!! Best mowing video I’ve seen all season 👏🏻👏🏻😍😍 please keep the mowers their used now so they be going for a song 🤔😂
ОтветитьMaybe you should drop the front mower off and swap with the Kuhn to see how the back pair work with a narrower mower. If it’s good then go away and buy the rear set only without groupers. That’d cheapen the job.
ОтветитьNice job
ОтветитьGood man I like the setup and the job that the moors done it is a good job and the Massey has some power to run them moors 🥵🥵👌👌💪💪💪💪😎
ОтветитьWould you buy a big M mower
ОтветитьSome great footage there. Thank you
ОтветитьHi Phil Liv and family your vids are great no matter what job your doing keep em coming, dont despair Phil about about your vintage field show something is in the offing that will alter this crazy world and let us live a good life whatever we choose to do cant explain further other this would be the longest comment in history just to say it's not far off things will change for the better in every level of life for the Good so hang on and bate on all the best
ОтветитьThank you for the walk around machine and explain what the nuts n bolts off the mowers. Great information.
ОтветитьWhat’s bate on mean ? Phil
ОтветитьThe Samasz has impressed me, from what I have seen before these mowers actually looks like they are made very well, I have seen some older Samasz mowers without the conditioners and very "fragile" looking :) Would love a butterfly outfit myself, but not sure yet what to go for, new Samasz or maybe an older Kverneland or Claas :)
ОтветитьAh no, was really hoping the vintage silage day would happen this year. Pricks of insurance companies....
ОтветитьShame about the vintage harvest day. Looking forward to meeting you and father Phil at the harvest day in Cork next week. Should be a great day as long as the weather plays ball 👌
Ответить🚜🚜🚜🚜😎😎😎😎👍
ОтветитьWell
Ответить700 acres later and you still can't afford the deposit on the mowers. An awful lad for crying you have no 💰💲🤑💸. 🤔🤪
ОтветитьFarmer phil non brainer keep them contracted grass cutting!@@!!! LOL what is the name of the band that song running outta time??? 6499 the beast!!@!! Bate on.....
ОтветитьAmazing video, superb explanation into how those mowers work and your costs and time, plus well done for controlling 3 mowers and a drone, top job.
ОтветитьSomeone told blades are same as McHale
ОтветитьHow much diesel does that rig use.
ОтветитьI love massey Ferguson and extreme machines what an awesome video sir 😊 ❤️
ОтветитьThere's no moisture in the soil might be a bit short also on nitrogen, reason for poor growth
Ответитьno manure Phill
ОтветитьIf you are doing a lot of contract work for others then I whould say keep them but if only doing your own bits then no.
ОтветитьNice
