I know I'm a bit late here, but iv watched this a few times over the last 2 years. I think u really should try firebird 23. Gameplay pace is much improved. Also maybe chat to someone about options to change balls, stadiums , kits etc. Alot more options than u showed off here. Also a really fun patch is pes 6 decadas. Would recommend giving pes 6 a try. Probably more fun than efootball at the moment

Pro 6 was one of the worst not best, I brought this on the 360 it was the first pro release on the console, the best pro was pro 5 brilliant game

PES has much fewer teams than FIFA, so I can highly feel each team's character & identity. PES 6 and PES 7 version in Xbox are permanently legendary games.

its a lost art too slow down acceleration. if the numbers are incorrect then it's all for nothing.

Playing it on phone now and it feels great. The game was far ahead of its time.

It is absolutely SHOCKING how fluid the gameplay is compared to PES and FIFA of today...even the graphics haven't aged that poorly (thanks to the zoomed out perspective for gameplay). It looks far more organic in motion that FIFA and PES falls apart for me from the start because of some of those damned running animations the kept in the game for years now!

I had this on PS2, my first ever master league game, one of my players went down holding his face. In the next game as the players lined up, he had a cheek mask. I thought it was such a cool detail that I would probably see 100's of times. I played about 15 seasons and it never once happened again. I believe this was also the game where if you won the master league, you got a star above your crest, my shirt was full of them and then I accidentally turned off my PS2 as it was saving and wiped all the data. It was far more fun than modern football titles. How is it that a PS5 game doesn't feel as good as a PS2 game. I want this exact game but with modern graphics. A remaster would be amazing.

I'm playingPes 6 now on my hacked psp go, it's still great, tough but great lol. I pass to Ronaldo on the wing, and try to lob the ball in the middle, I can't seem to do anything else lol. I think Pes5,6 Winning Eleven 8th was the best ever. On psp pes6 isn't this quick maybe cuz you're playing on top player.. I don't like Fifa cuz it's too easy to score, soccer / football is a sport more about misses, the few that hit can go in.

The 1st PES on PS2 is so underrated, I've been playing it recently and can't put it down.

PES 6 best game of all time, anyone who has even kicked a ball in real life can tell you this.

For me the dribbling, 1v1 scenarios, lack of scripting. Best football simulator and totally realistic

For me it’s the peak of football games, the only way you can improve pes 6 in any way is adding the modern graphics. I wouldn’t even change the 8 directional system as it was so smooth in pes 6 and in REAL LIFE, you can’t even move any more than 8 directions…

Maybe improve the AI, as top player becomes too easy after a certain point. But that’s only because the game is so playable you can put so many hours to the point you master it, that’s due to a lack of scripting. FIFA might have “360” dribbling but that’s not realistic and the dribbling and physics in FIFA is slow and totally unrealistic. It’s a plastic games for kids and people who cannot play football in real life.

The problem is, how do I keep playing a game after 16 years that hardly anyone plays, you eventually get bored of the offline modes. But 16 years to get bored of a game, wow, undoubtedly the best and it should be remastered every year by KONAMI. I’d pay £50 happily every year as honestly, it’s almost unimprovable it’s the peak of football games they could make games for the next 60 years, there will never be one better than pes 6. Closest thing to either playing or watching real football. Isn’t that what we pick up football games for?

This is still the best pes by far . For me running down the wing and sliding tackles winning back the ball were amazing on this pes .

I have a solution for those football game especially for konami, just make a game like before but without using any feature of gacha or summoning player stuff, but making online Match in: Exhibition, Master league it's kinda fun

Same with Madden and FIFA, the developers just removed everything moving to 360/PS3 and we never got the features back even now on PS5.
