If you have to teach animals that its not ok to rape women in your country's then you dont let them enter in the first plsce ...Period.

Mind blowing, that these courses exist. It’s beyond bizarre, that you have to teach grown men and women, that rāping and beating a woman is wrong.

We have these classes in Sweden too, and the sad truth is that many of the people dont take them seriously when the teacher is female.

Why are they even letting these people in. They dont need them.

Try classes for refugee men, how to be thankful and not rape the women of country which gave refuge to refugees. But it's not going to help. They will always keep book of their religion above any human value you try and teach them.

I think this is great. I don't know why some of y'all are being so negative about it considering Norwegians are also assaulting women. The integration classes are a great way to get actual understanding of the social cues and norms of a country that's so different from what you're raised in. It's all well and good to want to go to a different country, but it can be difficult to change when you genuinely don't understand so many things about the culture. Misunderstandings happen so easily, and if you're just acting in a way you were raised as "normal", then there's a genuine shock and guilt when miscommunication happens and brings terrible consequences.

When I worked as a translator it’s crazy how much you can see. During the migrant crisis I have actually noticed that most people does not come from Syria. They have a different dialect, it’s rather most people from Iraq/Afghanistan/Morocco/Tunisia/Palestine who took the chance. I don’t like how they always emphasis on Syria, many people have fake passports or say that they are Syrians but lost identification papers. I catches a few that were sent back due to having some evidence. There are ofc a lot of Syrians as well, but sadly the ones that are not as educated. Syria in general have well educated people that shouldn’t need this, but the religious people are destroying it. I just saw it was a common issue and nothing you can do about it…

Just a little reminder: In many European countries rape inside marriage has only been criminalised a relatively short time ago (in Germany for example, it was criminalised in 1997), so it's a bit absurd to say things like "What has Europe become" or "How can a culture seriously condone rape?" when not so many years ago a man could legally rape his wife in many European countries. We should still teach refugees that rape is entirely unaccaptable, but let's not pretend that women's rights have been totally self-evident in European culture.
