I don't think there is a fanbase that wishes to ruin their own form of entertainment more than wrestling fans. They demand to know what's going on backstage at all times. They demand to know everyone's six month trajectory. If they don't like how the story is going, they will try to ruin the show by hijacking it if they are in the arena. No other fans of scripted TV want their story ruined like that. They want to suspend disbelief and get into the story. Wrestling fans want to be couch bookers.
