ไหนใครบอกว่าเรื่อง LGBT+ ไม่เกี่ยวกับปากท้อง - นี่คือเรื่องราวของผู้คนที่เคยถูกเหยียดเพศและเลือกปฏิบัติในที่ทำงาน คุณ ‘ตะวัน’ คุณ ‘เฟิร์ส’ และคุณ ‘พีซ’ ที่ได้มาแบ่งปันประสบการณ์แย่ๆ ในโลกของการทำงานในประเทศนี้ ที่หลายๆ บริษัทยังไม่ให้ความสำคัญกับความหลากหลายทางเพศเท่าที่ควรจะเป็น เพราะ ‘นายทุนก็เกลียด LGBT+’ ‘เพื่อนร่วมงานเหยียดเพศ’ ‘นโยบายบริษัทก็กีดกัน’

มันถึงเวลาแล้วที่เราต้องมาซีเรียสกับเรื่องนี้ เพราะการเคารพทุกความหลากหลายของคนในที่ทำงาน ไม่ใช่แค่ LGBT+ ย่อมเกิดผลดีต่อบริษัทเองโดยความหลากหลายและการมีส่วนร่วมอาจมีอยู่ในรูปแบบของนโยบาย กิจกรรม และ สถานที่ เพื่อหยุดการเหยียดเพศในที่ทำงาน (Discrimination in Workplace) และผลักดันให้สังคมเข้าใจและเคารพทุกความหลากหลายของคน (Diversity & Inclusion) เราหวังว่าคลิปนี้จะเป็นแรงบันดาลให้ภาคธุรกิจทั้งในไทยและภูมิภาคอื่นๆได้เริ่มหันมาใส่ใจ เคารพความหลากหลายของคนในองค์กรและอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างมีความสุข

Here’s proof that while being LGBT+ is only a part of one’s identity, it is related to all other aspects of life. Tawan, First and Peach were only some of the people discriminated against in the workplace because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. This is because many companies in Thailand still have not acted on the need to protect the members of the LGBT+ community who are undeniably treated unfairly in many areas. But it should never be acceptable for them to face bigotry from their colleagues and be put at a disadvantage by policies. The video hopes then to inspire more diversity and inclusion in the private sector in Thailand as well as in the region. Policies, programs, and spaces can be some of the means for achieving that end goal in which everyone feels welcomed and accepted. Once in place, not only do LGBT+ employees benefit from the inclusive setting, but also the whole company. The time to tackle discrimination in the workplace while encouraging diversity and inclusion is now.
