Biggest CHEATER in Pokemon Speedrun History Was Just Caught

My man, I'm just happy completing my casual pokemon games and this comes out doing my fav games in less than 1 and a half hours

I'll never get why people splice runs, i guess it's because it's the easiest way to win if you're somewhat good at the game but it's just so easy to mess up and get caught.

Why is it always the French? I never had a good experience with them online.

That’s crazy how fast people can speed run Pokemon. I can’t even get out of the 2nd town in under an hour 😂 I finished fire red recently and I think I clocked out at 23 hours

I'm not an expert or anything but as someone who has been looking into starting speedrunning (possibly while blindfolded too) and watching how things go for real speedrunners, the jumping around from game to game so quickly is what really caught my attention. I would think that studying and repeated playing of a game takes time to have the familiarity necessary for record level gameplay. Small details can break a run and you have to know all of those small details.

Most people watch things like this and feel like they would be able to catch cheaters, but I'd just like to take a moment to appreciate the sheer volume of work that judges and moderators go through to examine runs in excruciating detail before making the call regarding any particular run is legit or cheated. I can scarcely imagine how much work they really have to do while going through the verification process, and how much pressure they must feel when passing their final judgement verifying a run or not.

I once wondered why people cheat, what's the point? Well, In this case one of the reasons they cheated is to "earn" money. Seriously, that should be a crime, and he got away with the money.
With all the other runners trying to get their best Jadiwi simply cheated.
It is really sad to know that people like that exist.

People love cheating in official Pokemon tournaments. Why not speedrunning?

He got caught all because of his greed for money and fame. And the speedrunning community dug his cheating out once he pushed his luck too far by basically calling out:

I dont speedrun and I'm not big in the scene but still knew that its not impossible to audit the runs by checking rng. He had to have known that he would be caught.

Cheating in a speedrun is kinda a haha lol sorta thing. Cheating in a speedrun for money is fraud.

Why dont speedrunning sites have lists of potential cheaters to watch closely?
The "my pc cant run a gb emulator" should instantly put you on said list, and all the runs submitted by said person should be checked in detail

I beat the game in 1hour and 36 min its not h score in red but i dont run for me time i got fun in the game
From what i know green i got way faster from what i know i dont get the same love for that game its feel all the same for me
