The thing I learned about mixing is it’s truly about finding your sound once your comfortable rapping I suggest going to a professional studio even if it’s a bit pricey I mix a lot of my own tracks so I would hope to get my template

My I ask. Do you process audio using Front End gear like Preamps channel strips etc to record into your DAW Protools 1st. Then start Mixing? I don’t wanna know what’s best. I wanna know how your working your mix flow. Because I lot times. People don’t share how the audio got into protools. Or is it just that simple to just take Raw MPC or other tracks and just start mixing.

But also let me ask about the 808 Stereo set up. Do you know if those 808 was all group together in Mono and then brought over to Stereo for you to Mix. Reason why I'm asking is I run Mono on my MPCX but then made into stereo like you have. Do that make since? v

but he didn't blend in the para tracks, he just left it at default gain, shouldn't youre para tracks be lower and blend it in with the main kick?

but if you properly gain stage its kinda hard to clip without the sound getting way to loud

Two things that caught me was the API channel strip on the piano and most of all the Focusrite channel strip on the bell. It added a real nice dimension to that bell. Nicely done bruh.

I really like this vocal chain it sounds amazing with my vocals but It’s like it’s also bringing out unwanted lower frequencies making a hiss type sound. Any ideas? Should I be cutting more lower frequencies?
