This is ridiculous. I thought the whole Sandoval Raquel thing was a complete blindside to everyone...apparently not. Everyone knew and was speculating out loud to each other with discussions about the Abbey, Tom and Ariana's open relationship, mistresses. It's stupid to think that Ariana was completely shocked, unaware and just sort of out of nowhere checked Tom's phone. She knew, she busted him and silly women are elevating her to some sort of girl boss status just because her relationship petered out, like at least half do. I'm in no way defending what Tom and Raquel did, but to pretend that they were diabolically conning everyone and disrespecting an unsuspecting girlfriend who thought her relationship was perfect is bullshit. They were as sloppy and uncaring about holding themselves to any kind of moral standard as anyone else on this show (Ariana and her 'let's create embryos but I don't care we use them' horror, Katie and her 'I've fucked a lot more than two times this past year, but Schwartz still better have my back entitlement, and Lala's completely unjustified presence on the show, much less the idea she has anything to say to Raquel on the subject of respecting other women's men). I don't know the future of this show because things have gotten pretty bitter, but I'd rather watch Sandoval, Schwartz and Raquel than the rest of them.
