CS2's Missing Factions - Cut Content of Counter-Strike 2 #csgo #cs2

Baaaaaaaaaah, Esports just ruins games. I can't imagine anyone who plays this game professionally and competitively actually likes it.

not only should they re-add the factions, there should be a faction per EACH fucken map, i want there to be so many fucking different models they eventually have to make sonic oc looking shits to keep them unique

The only reason they didn't add them to CS2 is because of the low priority on them, idk why people are so stressed about this, they WILL bring them back, mark my words. All factions play some role into the lore and they already have the models so I doubt they'd just let the SAS cruise around in Italy for no reason.

The Agents honestly look like life-sized G.I. Joe action figures compared to the actually serious military and paramilitary outfits of the default Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist teams/factions

Also, yeah we've absolutely taken a few steps back with the default player models not even fitting in with their environment. Apparently the SAS just has full jurisdiction to operate across the entire planet and none of the local countries have their own counter-terrorism agencies XD

Valve has got to bring them back! Especially the IDF and separatists because their voices are sexy as hell!

With how long Valve had been planning to move Counter Strike to the new engine, I don't think they would have bothered updating all the default models, if they weren't going to be used in CS2.

It's a damn shame this series, and more specifically CSGO/CS2, has overtime just been stripped more and more of its lovely charm, background detail, and all around casual features in order to facilitate and appease the competitive portion of it.

With CS2's whole new flashy and, as someone else lovingly put it, ESport-y branding scheme, its strangely out-of-the-blue reveal (not even a proper reveal trailer? did they forget about CSGO's SFM masterpiece?), its somewhat obvious rushed development cycle, its rather malicious piggybacking off CSGO's steam page which basically wipes it from existence, paired with conveniently missing content such as this (which I personally believe is a tactic to get people to spend money on the operators or whatnot) - Its coming to a point where I'm personally really finding it hard to call this game something as prestigious as "Counter Strike" when its basically turning into a glorified tryhard casino hero shooter with each passing update.

And I thought it was the peak of scum when CSGO came out and added skin gambling and microtransactions. Oh how terribly naïve I was.

Come on Valve - Get your fucking head out of your ass.

The levels are specially crafted to meet this criteria
