I don't play darts but looks pretty fking hard to concentrate with a giant crowd cheering your opponent and booing you! Just imagine a chess match with such crowd

they seem so close to the dart board though... i realize its 7 foot 9 but it makes me think dart boards in bars are like 10 feet lol ... i know plastic boards are 8 feet... but when they reach in their arms it looks like two arm lengths away.

I think it would be nice if the "TV" announcers would hush and let us enjoy the sounds of the game and just talk between the games and the breaks.

As amazing as that comeback was, I can't help but feel so bad for the guy. Just look at his body language and his expression, he looked completely broken and dejected. I can't imagine having 8 chances to win the match and choking them all away. Hopefully he bounced back from this.

Previously, I wouldn't have put darts on the list of exciting spectator sports, but this is a tense and exciting match. Big props to Fallon for enduring what must have been a lot of macho bullshit to earn her place here, and to PDC for creating the opportunity for her to do it and for us to watch. Whatever folks think of the politics surrounding the PDC and BDO, the PDC is bringing darts into the future so it isn't so macho and limited anymore. And so it's also becoming an exciting spectator sport.
