If you are the 95% of Americans who do not have the propencity to fall into addiction, the best short term solution for hyper focus, energy, euphoria, pre work out boost, sexual enhacement, performance, curb appetite, rapid weightloss, and fight depression the king of all substances is crystal meth. There are plenty of people who use it once in a blue moon without becoming addicted. Only 5% who try it become long term addicts (Gabor Mate MD addiction medicine). Dont be brain washed by the media).

I've had a heart attack. The neck is 50% clogged. Have a leaky valve too. My whole body aches with arthritis. I really feel like I'm winding down soon. I've never been lazy. The doctor says he doesn't understand why I'm not feeling well. I thought those reasons would be enough. I can hardly walk a mile and seems like im having a stoke. Ive had quadruple vision, vertigo, facial ticks, can't walk straight. The doctor seems to have no interest. Everyone thinks I'm depressed. It is depressing, to feel horrible, and I probably look miserable aswell

Around 30 min the double inhale long exhale. Is that similar to what children do when crying? Sorry if you answered, I'm still listening.

Ive figured out the real reason to make your bed. Its about self love so that you have a nice place to sleep at night and its a clear goal with immediacy. With the result being you are now warmed up and awake.

I was watching some political stuff and my brain started hurting. It just started repulsing me. I realized I haven’t learned anything important and I stopped what I was doin and I typed in “learn something new” as quickly as I could. This has really shed some lights on things for me….

My ex use to act out his dreams. He wasn’t able to find help for this problem. He would get up and for example kick something because of the dream and injure his foot… or thrash in bed…

It's interesting that journaling/writing helps me a lot, as well as, when in crisis I imagine a therapy session with the perfect imaginary therapist and I tell them everything, the way I could never express myself face to face with a real person, and they reassure me in my fantasy - this helps a hundred times more than a real session (I did this while waiting for an appointment that was in a few days and I had to cope somehow these days before). So, I believe now that I'm my best therapist, I know about myself a lot more than I can express and I understand myself better than someone who would need hundreds of hours to get me.

The opening of the video and I already know this is going to be good. I’ve felt really low the last couple days, and I can totally agree that getting up and exercising is the most effective way I’ve found to get my mind back on track.

I love the part where he likens, "I need a drink," to, "I need an Uber driver. You really don't know how to drive." Yeah, that's totally true. I'm a very good driver, but I became partially blind, so I legally cannot drive, but I get what he's saying. "Needing," a drink is about an inability to manage anxiety. I hear people say they need a drink a lot, and I always used to assume they were joking because comedy is my coping mechanism. If I'm dealing with a stressful situation that just won't quit getting worse, I might say something like this, but I'm not serious. I didn't find out until just recently that there are people who really are being serious when they say they NEED a drink. It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around it, but I have at least reached level 1 of understanding this sort of thing. My best friend died of a heroin overdose, and I still don't get how she could do that. I love her and accept the fact that she had an addiction, but I'm still trying to understand why she couldn't just let that drug go and, idk, meditate her way through recovery. I might never understand it, but I'm closer to understanding than I've ever been before. Progress is progress and I don't try to poke holes in progress.

I want to apply it! I've got so much psychological knowledge or even knowledge of like how our meat is produced here in America and it just causes inner turmoil as I'm not taking action in either area I'm just disappointed in myself and completely disgusted with so many others. They say ignorance is bliss and I get it. Having a thirst for knowledge and knowing stuff makes it a lot harder to live

Some people being better under pressure and with deadlines is proof of the fear being a motivator. You fear losing a job, or you fear losing whatever it is that you need to meet that deadline for, right?

To me, if I see the process of working towards a goal gratifying. It will keep me from being disappointed if my goal isn't reached. At the same time, I won't get too excited about reaching a goal. Eliminating the highs and lows. Calm and relaxed with a consistent mindset

"I need a drink" 99% of Irish people at least 3 times a week. We dont even see it as a problem. I swear half the adult populatiin are functioning alcoholics. When we use the term alcoholic we are talking severe cases. Everything else on the spectrum totally normalised. And starts so young. Not that unusual to hear kids getting drunk at 12 and 13. Crazy but true!

Number one reason is men have carried 100% of the weight and responsibility of humanity for over 100 years. 99,000 out of 100,000 women today aren't worth burning for heat much less marrying or having kids. Men have been shit on since world war 1 and now it's taking it's toll. I say we just let it all fall apart and the ones who survive will build a better one. Good luck.

Is there anyone thinking that it was better when we didn't know these things? About dopamine, serotonin, endorphine etc? When you put pleasure, enjoyment, and happiness that way they lose significance. Instead of searching for activities/partners/people that fulfill us, we are trying to controls these hormones. I hate sometimes that I learned these things. From my perspective it is like "meh, it is just a bunch of hormones, not so real".
