- Pros: 1) easy to use on mobile devices 2) besides all basic info about characters, it also presents simple shapes to show the structure of characters. 3) easy to create flashcards on your phone and practice on the go
3. Skritter
- Pros: 1) beautiful design. 2) it offers word decks (flashcards) from textbooks or HSK courses 3) very thorough instructions on characters including instructional videos, ancient forms of characters, definition, pronunciation, components, sentence examples, and customizable space for mnemonic story making.
- Cons: Not free recourses
4. Written Chinese
- Pros: 1) in online dictionary format 2) basic information about characters
- Cons: 1) limited information for thorough learning
