I'll go and have a look at your old video for comparison. Your German sounds great and very fluid here, though it's probably your main language at the moment? It's strange how even a native language can suffer from under-use. I was brought up semi-bilingual (born in England, but French mother) and even though my French was weaker then it rocketed up once I lived in France/Belgium. And under-use of English had me eventually, after years, clicking my fingers tying to remember certain words. Yet this is only ever in speaking; for almost all people I think. Never reading or listening. Now I live in the Netherlands my English has normalised again and French (ans Spanish) has fallen a little, though there are quite a lot of Spanish speakers here. If I don't speak Dutch for a an entire weekend or so it can be rusty come Monday and I've been speaking it well over a decade!
I'm reminded of the time 50 years ago when I was studying Greek, Latin, and Hebrew at the same time, living in the USA amongst German Lutherans. Outside of classes we often spoke "Germlish." It's normal to get mixed up. I worked around hispanophones for many years, and when I was at loss for a word I would say "La palabra en ingles (o aleman, o latin classico, o greco, o hebreo) es..." People respect that you are trying to communicate and are most hospitable.
Congratulations!!😊😊
That was very impressive lovely Laura 👍👌🤟🎁👏. It’s amazing how you can switch between different languages so easily. And the mistakes don’t count because there were only 1 or 2 of them 👍
YOU ARE A GENIUS!!
ОтветитьExcel.lent!
Parabéns, gostaria de vê-la falando Português também.
Ответить✅6.5 of 8, good enough, i'm just too lazy for russian, and swedish is still difficult to understand for me💁♂️... und bei schwyzerdütsch ist glaube ich wichtiger dass man es versteht als es zu sprechen?
Porca miseria....impressionante sei ...brava davvero
Bra jobbat Laura!!
ОтветитьVeldig talentfull.
El gran video :)
No subtitles and I understood...
-97% of Catalan
-100% of Spanish
-100% of English
-100% of French (Laura has notably improved here BTW)
- 60% of German
- 2% of Russian (I have never learned it)
- 90% of Italian
- 85% of Swedish (if only native Swedish speakers spoke as clearly as Laura does)
- 50% of Swiss German
E em português, nada? 😂😂😂😂😂
Mi salutas vin el Brazilo! Salids cordials. 😄😄😄😄😄
ОтветитьAd spectaculum tuum polyglottum meum invitare debes. Is (Lucas Ranieri-meus rusticus) copiose Latine loquitur.
Very good job. (: for me the relationship of or the difference for you between the two languages you grow up with is so interesting. Also since they're pretty close to begin with. Does spanish feel basically as native to you as catalan or how do you perceive it in comparison? Did you maybe even get better in spanish than catalan over time because you maybe spoke it more or in more advanced level conversation setups? Or did it stay the same pretty much since your childhood. And for exampe if you had to give a spontanios public speach and could choose the language which you feel the most grounded in which language would you choose?
I just keep learning spanish for now although I also really like italian.
Well done, sehr gut, brava. Simlar questiin to below, what is your favourite language to use in the majority to speak or write? Or is it just context dependent? Do you find one more beautifil than another?
:) Yo entiendo 4 idiomas y por eso каждый раз когда вижу, что кто-то может разговаривать на ещё большем количестве языков - in this moment this person becomes an idol for me.
Bra och intressant video.
Hälsningar från Villmanstrand, Finland.
I like you.
T'estimo molt.
Je t'aime.
Te amo.

No has vivido en Inglaterra ¿Verdad? En cualquier caso, enhorabuena.
Buna seara !! Vorbesti roman ?
Great job! Any favorite music in Italian or other languages you'd recommend?
Hi, Laura!
I stumbled upon your channel today. And I may say, I'm really fascinated. You fulfilled my dream. I would like to speak these languages. English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. This is my goal, but I'm only at the beginning of this journey. I've begun with English and French) So, I would like to congratulate you! Bravo! It's really amazing. Such people like you and Steve Kauffmann and doctor Stephen Krashen, and some others, you guys motivate me so much.

Det innebär att min svenska blivit sämre. Man kan också säga. "det innebär att min svenska försämrats".
You did really Well….
I’ve never learned Russian at all but I picked up quite a bit of what you said because I’m learning Serbian now….
I know they are two Slavic languages but it was still a nice surprise to see how much I could understand!
You are amazing and beautiful! Greetings from Poland.
You are so sweet, and your skills are impressive :)
Spanish is a language of good party time 😅
I'm interested to learn more about Catalan it sounds very pretty! If I know spanish, French, portuguese, will it be fairly easy to pick up?
Ответить😅 that's good to know!! Do you have recommendations for learning catalaan.?
Hola Laura !! M'encanten els teus vídeos, d on ets ?
Bravissima
You know English well definitely. Your Italian sounded advanced. You are the first Spanish speaking polyglot I have heard use over five languages. Nice job.
Sei arrivata a 35 anni e già sei fluente in otto lingue. Impressionante!
Tu parles très bien le français. Félicitations
