I remember while visiting a patient in the hospital the TV was covering the trial. i asked a older nurse who happened to be black what she thought. Her response without hesitation was,"he is guilty as the day is long". I have never forgotten that.

I was happy with the final verdict for Simpson and it felt like a triumph for my African-American brothers and sisters; the perception at the time was this trial being motivated by racism and the outcome a painful one!

As a veteran and proud US citizen, this trial was a tipping point for me, the start of the understanding of how our judicial system is a farce. Years later, all the evidence holds true. OJ murdered them. The story that was told to us was to let us know that you can not oppose capital.
