He's so right. I am a Cameroonian student and have lived in Johannesburg for about 3 years and about 2 in Cape Town and Cape Town is my favourite by far. The weather is mostly perfect, the views are scenic and there's always something fun to do.

Every December, the GP plates fill up this city and thereafter only a percentage of them go back home. This year alone(2023) was the mass Emigration with a lot more from other provinces arriving and we fear that after the festive we will have to expand our roads again even though we recently just just done so.

quite a shallow look at Cape Town, Its definitely NOT the best city in the world although i LOVE IT.
We have such rife poverty and homelessness problem that its actually quite sick to watch this guy just overindulge on food and think that the waitresses and food attendants who get hardly enough to survive are his friends....I doubt he can even relate to them past his own glory seeking habits.

Until this city can take care of its own and not play towards wealthy tourists it will NEVER be the best city in any world.

Crime and gangsterism is largely out of control in the 'bad lands' which is like only 20 mins drive and our national treasures like table mountain and signal hill are crime hotspots and even our own government warns not to go there alone or at night, even when its a special thing to do a full moon hike. You would think for the BEST city in the world they would have found a way to control crime instead of giving up and saying better don't go there and enjoy the beauty....
