Playing SpinTires the Original in 2022!

Hi, I hope I'm not the only person asking this. How do I get the original game in the middle of 2023?

I turned on Spintires original recently for the first time in years and was sad to see it doesn’t even load right for me the shadow maps are all messed up and if I mess with some graphics settings I can get the terrain but no trees or bushes and either my wheels go invisible or my axles go invisible when I mess with any graphics settings. I can’t seem to get it to work anymore even after reinstalling. The old tech demo still works fine. I wish I could find a file of spintires full game from around 2015 does anyone know where I can find that?

I'll have to check the og out again, it's been a while sincle last time I played. I played mudrunner so much, I love it, but Snowrunner is just lame and grindy in comparison

I want there to be a better farming mechanic in the next installment too, basically become a blue collar sim if it must, I want to be able to start my oh homestead in snowrunner, be able to change the landscape with heavy machinery, build new builds

To me, spintires had better terrain deformation than mudrunner and snowrunner. More detailed vegetation on the maps as well. It also had a more realistic feel but maybe that's just me.

Nice video but was wondering were I could get spintires to play it?

That's still one of my favorite games of all time

Mudrunner has always been my favourite. I think snowrunner was almost a completely different game, rather than another game in the series, and I never really got into it for this reason. I like the simple and clear challenge of get the logs to the sawmill in mudrunner. Have also been playing a bit of the original and it's pretty good as well, if a bit less polished in terms of controls and UI.

I got tired of snowrunner too fast, and the memory stuff that completely locks the xbox for the chance to play other games 😅 and i like some of the mudrunner modes, that makes you really think about what vehicles to use..

Make a series on this game. It would be awesome to see you play it again, I grew up watching you play spintires
