do i get one of these or a full power sv650?
Ответить125 cc guys .. they forget that they will be better riders 95% of the time, then people who start out late in life on bigger bikes .. and yes i`m one of those guys .. starting on a 600 cc Hornet .. picking it up monday, it has 18600 miles on it, so just a baby still .. and i`m happy and find it to be more then enough for me :D i just turned 44 .. so might be to late for me .. but who cares , ill still go for it
ОтветитьThis is my dream commuter/sport tourer. Something about a carbed 600, a decent road suspension (rear is upgradable pretty easily). Single front halogen reflector headlight. Just screams so retro. To a time just before computers took over.
ОтветитьI’m a Honda hornet lover
ОтветитьTHE HORNET IS ONE OF THE BEST NAKED BIKES EVER
ОтветитьYami, I am in the market for one. What is the earliest year I must worry about ethanol-related issues? I am 54 and have not (really) ridden street since 28-30ish. Thank you.
ОтветитьYou have a link to sources for that single exhaust conversion? I have an '02 919 and finding parts is getting near impossible.
Ответитьguy, talk too much, we only wanna hear the engine sound
ОтветитьIt’s a good bike for a beginner? 🤔
ОтветитьJust bought one myself. I'd prefer if the can on that pipe would angle upward quite a bit more. I also own a modern loaded BMW but I love all bikes and I know a good bike when I see it and the 919 is a gem to me. I'm of the same mindset as you as well. I am going to make mine just like what you did
ОтветитьVery eloquent just subscribed
ОтветитьThat bike has soul it's so beautiful and unique the sounds and that build
ОтветитьIs the hornet s 2004 oke for a beginner?
ОтветитьBro 125 is not funny
ОтветитьI had a 03 hornet 600 loved it good reliable bike just didn't like cold lol
ОтветитьI bought mine new in 2007 for $6000 and its been great. I added a power-commander and aftermarket muffler and then installed the map to match. I also changed the front sprocket to lower the rpm on the highway. Im 6 foot and it was a little short for me. I realized later that I could raise or lower it with the spanner wrench on the back and that made a big diff. The bike is cammed to have strong low and midrange power. When it came out it was ranked as THE HONDA RACING TEAMS FAVORITE BIKE TO RIDE ON THEIR DAY OFF.
ОтветитьHad that exact bike for 8 years. Magnificent machine. And big strong guts too.
ОтветитьIf you're covering bikes of the people, do a 600 bandit video! Arguably worse than the 600 hornet, although more reliable, they seem to be much much more popular over here in the UK. Don't look at the fared version, do the naked - a much better looking bike. The 600 or 650 are pretty similar except from age and the difference of carbs vs fuel injection :)
ОтветитьHate that stupid way of driving between cars....
ОтветитьThis is what I am learning on now (but the 600). My driving school's bike. First and only real bike I ever sat on so far.
ОтветитьLame splitting is technically legal in texas due to the "Texas passing law"
ОтветитьA superb bike, powerful, comfortable and reliable
ОтветитьI am seriously considering starting on a 919 hornet, no point of driving a 600 for 6 months and then selling and buying again ....Got one close around and reviews are really helpfull rn :)
edit: I got a 919, im doing the bafflectomy mod on it rn, and its an amazing starter. Its heavy so you have to respect it, but the middle torque is really where this bike shines. You can try to lean a little more aggressive on it, but u need better tires for that. And getting in 6th gear 3k rpm, this bike is such a joy and doesnt drink any fuel. <3 <3
My girlfriend owns Hornet 600 '05. It's really nice bike. Also very easy to maintain. Also it's quite cheap tho. I recommend it not just for starters.
I drive Fz6
Thats what is nice they do what it says on the tin, and do it well, no need for the onboard Coffee maker, and Netflix on the TFT screen, its all about the ride. they keep you in touch with the road, the computer R2D2 versions seem to take that a away a bit.
Ответитьsaw it in the showroom and it looks nothing special.
Ответитьyou using the word "vapid"..a bit ironic
ОтветитьYou live in a shitty place to ride bikes.
ОтветитьI love my 919. Your description was exactly what the bike is. Even after 60,000 with good upkeep, great ride
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video. Bought an 07 919 with 4k miles on it earlier this week and riding it home from Maine this Sunday. My other bike is a 2016 R1200RS. Life is good.
Ответить6+ minutes renting about the contant that you may do with the bike, instead if doing the actual review 😅
and how much its grounding experience and its a downgrade.
Yami takes L for this one.
I recently purchased the 1999 Hornet 600. Blue version. Amazing bike!! Thanks for this amazing video!! :)
ОтветитьNice Bike.
ОтветитьJajaja I thought so too .. little ? ... I have an Italika 125z man ..
ОтветитьI just got one. Put straight pipes on it. I love it.
ОтветитьFor me it’s the sound of the four cylinder is amazing and it’s my favourite sound by far!!
ОтветитьDo an old zrx.
Ответитьwho was the moron that got rid of the high mount exhaust?
ОтветитьMy coworker (senior tech at our motorcycle shop) has one with over 300k miles on the original motor.
Ответитьi watched this video because there's one for sell near me for $3,900 with only 15k miles. your opinion is pretty high for me when it comes to bike info and knowledge. i'm going to look into it. 🤘😎
ОтветитьHow did you heal brother ? Hope all is well
ОтветитьThis guy craps on the whole video…..
ОтветитьI am 5"7 do you think I'll be able to flat step with this bike?
ОтветитьWhat is the year of manufacturing?
Ответить"Some what quick" 02 book was 0-60 in 2.9 sec. 67 ft lbs of torque. You grandma it😂
Ответить125s over ere can keep up with r6s on track. Moto3 bikes are faster in corners then motogp bikes. My granny can go full gas on big bikes in straight lines its boring,
Ответитьdude I am halfway thru this video and you are driving me CRAZYYY....don't lanesplit at the beginning of the video if you are gonna try to ride the bike onto a landscaper's trailer for the rest of the time.....holy crap I would have split right down the middle for those two miles you were trying to get rear-ended because YOU DON"T HAVE MIRRORS. lololol....ok, you're back above 18mph now....
Ответить
