Great video,

I have a question.
What about the dust ? Using Makita is that gives any problems?

what a great idea! I had someone 3D print me a fitting that connects my Makita to the shop vac. But this would have solved my problem quickly if I saw this earlier as I do have that same inner tube.

Very nice, glad I stumbled across this video!

One day there will be peace on earth and all vaccum connectors will be standardised for all tools.

Great suggestion mate!!! Watched a couple of your vids, they’re concise, clear, and effective! We’re going to use this hack to sand our floors!

Nice! I currently use electrical tape for this, but it needs to be changed often as it wears quickly... this is much better.

No one is asking about the modified sander for corners. Any more information on that would be great.

Interesting I've bought a few Festool extractors and none ever came with that part. I did just order a midi and I guess I'll see soon enough, but I'm thinking it may not be something they do for us Americans. Either way clever idea.

Did you know that people who use "hack" ARE hacks? They speak in kindergarten English.

The adaptor , is it a Makita or a Festool one? Or a generic off the shelf. I have quite a few Makita tools and looking to get a Festool dust extractor. Thank you.

Did you use the Festool 202346 part for your creative workaround? Great video by the way. Thank you.
