Hi Jeremy. I am an adult male 50+ years old who had never played a musical instrument or tried to learn anyrhing musical. 2 years ago I purchased your Beginner Series and started my journey. I am now fairly competent in reading sheet music. I have played in church a few times and played at my father's funeral last month. It's all thanks to your series (and exactly 5 sessions with a teacher to help prepare for 2 performances). Thanks Jeremy, thanks Sax Tuition. You have helped make my dream of playing the saxophone come true. I have a long way to go, but I have a sound (pardon the pun) foundation to build on. I highly recommend Sax Tuition Beginner Series.

I don’t own a sax yet, but very informative video. Shouldn’t you put the mouthpiece on to the neck, before you put the neck on the body? I heard this is better and less strain on the neck.

Hello, I have a soprano sax and I'm trying to learn. I really enjoyed this lesson, veery clear and concise. I am having trouble with the month placement. I either don't get sound or have to work really hard to get sound. Do you have a lesson for this specifically?

wish you'd spend more time showing the actual finger placement for each key while going over how to play each note. Its just glossed over and makes it confusing, I had to rewind multiple times to double check things.

I'm coming back to woodwinds after 3 years tomorrow. Played Clarinet for 4 years, switched to Trumpet and now I'm in college and I've fallen in love with the Tenor Sax sound (particularly from John Coltrane). I'm super excited, video explains everything great!

58, thought I would buy a Sax, as you do. Three days in and your description on how to breathe into the mouth piece has made a massive difference. Just need to find an optimal position to hold the Sax and then I will be getting started. Many thanks.

I’m so glad I ran across your video! My husband played some saxophone in high school but hasn’t played in many years, but I play piano by ear and have always wanted to learn sax, so I unburied his saxophone out of the basement and put it together, but I couldn’t even get a sound to come out other than blowing air 😂 I am laughing at all the things I did wrong after watching your video and look forward to trying again tomorrow to see if I can actually get a sound! That would be a good start lol

I don't own a saxophone 🎷 either but I'm going to get one. Especially now that I know theory arpeggios, triads on my guitar. I love the saxophone sound. Wish me luck! Great lessons!
