I just love seeing how these fish live in the same environments and evolve so differently. That butterfly fish was incredibly beautiful
ОтветитьI laughed every time u said their Hawaiian names. So phunny, especially the long named ones. 😅😅😅
ОтветитьWonderful presentation

ОтветитьHumuhumunkunukuāpuáa... 🥴
Lauwiliwilinukunukuoíoi... my god... 😵

Black tang is my favorite.
ОтветитьGreat video. Straight to the point.
ОтветитьSuch a informative video..as a aquarium lover this is awesome!
ОтветитьAren’t all the oceans connected so it can’t be invasive because it could also go back to where it came from and more of them could come to Hawaii if they wanted to even if humans put them in the water
ОтветитьThank you so much for the wonderful Hawaiian names and details!
So helpful to have the clip to show when I teach the Geography-Biology of coral reefs to 16-18year. I am understanding more of how each specie is important to the reefs, some of which i saw briefly during a visit to Maui in May!
Hoping to visit again to appreciate snorkeling activities with these new insights!
Fish are amazing!
Ответитьthe goat fish hawaiian name is pronounced veke
ОтветитьNeed a frogfish 😢
ОтветитьGreat video. I just came back from Maui, so this brought back some memories. I hope there are, or will be more like this.
ОтветитьMore please ! This was great.
ОтветитьGreat video! More please!
ОтветитьThis is great! I hope you make more like this. Then I can show them to people who are going to snorkel or dive in Hawaii for their first time, before they go!
Couple of questions:
a) Does the name humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa also refer to the Picassofish aka lagoon triggerfish?
b) When you introduce the gray chub, doesn't the first scene you show have mostly highfin chub (aka topsail chub)? I think I see some gray chub a couple of cuts later, but at first I think it's mostly highfin chubs.
informative and educational! Can't wait to see these fish again in March!
ОтветитьNice educational video! Does Hawaii have blue sea stars? I spotted one on the Moorish Idol clip.
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьWonderful!!! I love the information!! Thanks!!!
ОтветитьHello! I love you channel, I love everything to do with the ocean and my dream is to be a marine biologist 😊 I was wondering what is your most favourite fish, mine is a volition lion fish 🐠!
