I came from the future to say: he didn't heard himself, anything changed, he still went on a LD without preparing himself before, but STILL a lot of fun.

Oh Phil you just had to check the rotation constraints on the RigidBody2D in Unity! I'm pretty sure that would have given you the desired behaviour!

I'm so glad I clicked your game maker template video all those years ago! Whilst i switched to unity back in V5 i adore these videos.
