Maybe I am watching you too much Sarah ! In the Uk we say “ my heart leapt with joy” or my heart sank.
This morning I started my almost finished summer cardigan in a cotton blend and instead of thinking I don’t like this, I said aloud to myself” I am not having a heart jumping moment!!!
Then I laid it aside and will return when I can bear to look at it again 🙂
Your videos on the other hand bring many ‘ heart jumping ‘ moments to me and many heart jumping moments I am sure.

🌱hi .., i think you are saying "shawl" (afrikaans: sjaal or tjalie) instead of "scarf" (serp or halsdoek)....? 🌷from the shape you are knitting it would seem to be a double warm tube type of scarf ... 🌼baie dankie vir die podcast... ek geniet dit ten volle ... (verskoon my tweede taal voute ✨) 🤗

Maybe your shawl is a cowl? I have only just realised that you are sound daily vlogs, where have I been?! I had a Dutch aunt and she had the little curtains like yours in the first part of the vlog. Thankyou Sarah.

Another lovely podcast. I love unraveling a messy pile of yarn and turning it into a ball.

Always so much fun to watch you, Sarah! Maybe you could stuff the bottom of the coffee cup with your yarn scraps to keep the soil in place.

I’m concerned that you don’t have much time for knitting - I hope it doesn’t make you give up your daily podcasts. Love your cactus and I’m going to give those a try. I hope you didn’t ruin your Birkenstocks in the mud. Thank you for all your time❤

Love your cactus, and used your recipie to make a few myself. But I am kind of lazy, so first i just make half of the soil. Then i can just tie the green strings on the inside before i make the rest of the soil. That way I just leave the yarnends inside as part of the stuffing. Thank you so much for your daily videos.

Good morning from Germany and thank you for your time to film your video. I love each and every one.
I have 2 hints for you...
Use the old black skirt as a pattern. Take it apart or at least open the buttons and lay it on the brown fabric to measure.
2nd hint : put some old newspaper crumbled in a ball in your cup before adding the soil ball. It will make the soil ball stay in place.

Have a nice day with lots of knitting sewing and crochet time.
Bye for now...from Heidi 🎉❤

I have to admire your patience in unravelling the yarny fankle (Scottish word for tangle/mess 😅) I’m afraid I would probably have tossed it in the bin! So well done for saving the yarn. I’m liking your long tube scarf very much. A very good use of scraps with no weaving in necessary. For your cactus soil ball, you could always place a little pad of something in the bottom of the mug to prevent it falling down. I liked your mug so much I went looking for one and I found one on EBay UK which I have ordered. While I was on there, I noticed many more in Europe which I didn’t order because of postage etc,, but I was thinking that if you looked you might find a replacement for your broken one. However, it might not feel the same since your first one was a gift from your father. I just thought I would mention it anyway. 🤎🤎🤎

Removing 15cm on both sides, will reduce the pattern by 30cm on each side. You have to removed fabric from the front and back so that they still match. Hope that makes sense.

I really enjoy your podcasts and amazing makes. I admire your perseverance with knitting and sewing, creating lovely garments. Would you consider taking off the worn waistband of your black skirt and using a broad elastic that could be stitched and turned to the wrong side. The rest of your skirt looks good on camera. ❤ Linda
