This is something I always thought about looking at Maradonas UEFA cup win. If you have the 2nd and third places of Europe's top 6 leagues + runners up of other leagues it's one heck of a tournament and actually harder than getting an easy draw in the European champions cup.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьRespekt!
ОтветитьGreat work on this.
ОтветитьAmazing video untill you put Liverpool as the hardest UCL win, which should sound some ringbells. I realised the problem is with the LPR. 10-LPR is supposed to give you how much of an underdog a team is.
1. Liverpool having 3.57 LPR is just not realistic in that season. It does not factor in the amazing overnight revolution of liverpool by klopp with the help of blockbuster signings like VVD and Alisson. Liverpool had amazing tournament in 17/18, 97 pointer season in the League, top 4 favourites teams to win the CL based on betting odds.. in no way does a 3.57 LPR does it justice imo.
The Champions League 24/25 season will have the highest LPR due to the new format
ОтветитьAt last a use for maths 😉
ОтветитьThis is just a brilliant video. It really does put a better perspective on us as to how hard winning a tournament is regardless of how weak the tournament is
ОтветитьCup Winners Cup always second tournament in Europe
ОтветитьI used to love the UEFA cup. The champions league killed it off. Even the cup winners cup made sense and had its place and was prestigious. The league winners went into the European cup and that was it. And second or at a push third in the league made the UEFA cup and that was it for that too. It meant that the quality was very high and winning the UEFA cup was a great achievement. Even as recent as when Porto won it with Mourinho in 2003 beating Celtic in the final they then went on 12 months later to win the CL. The CL has now swallowed up all of the teams that used to be in the UEFA cup. The europa league was dying a bit of a death until they finally did the obvious and gave the winners a CL place but is a good competition to win. Not many teams will win anything in a season after all.
Ответитьman made a whole thesis about the cups, respect
ОтветитьIncredibly interesting work sir, you can teach some pertinent things even to an expert as Daniele Adani. Chapeau !
ОтветитьMATH!!!!!!!!!!! 📒📒📒📒📒📒📒📒📒📒
ОтветитьIn the 2010/11 season Schalke reached the semi-finals but finished 14th in the Bundesliga
ОтветитьI have to say this was one amazing video!
Thanks for the amount of time you put into this!
Would love to see more content like this one!
Based on this formula how impressive was APOEL run to the Quarter Finals in 2012, if we consider they come from the Cyprus league and they were one of the weakest teams on paper before the start of the Tournament.
ОтветитьWhy do the premier league get the most
Ответить🔥
ОтветитьI wonder what Real Madrid 2022 would be. Would it be hardest/highest
ОтветитьBack in the day UEFA cup was a real thing. I'd say until 2000
