For anyone that has been on HP’s Making of in London, is it worth going to the Tokyo one? They look very similar
ОтветитьI want to go to Tokyo this fall. Could you add in prices of food, souvenirs, tickets etc? It help to know before you go.
.
glad you started your guide tour
ОтветитьI’ve been watching all your videos and your content is supreme. This one was extra cool! I had a question - What’s the difference between team labs planets and borderless? Which should I choose if I have time for only one?
Ответитьthe sheer number of chinese tourists was overwhelming
ОтветитьThis is out of context, but I just want to ask and know... where can I find K-pop stuff (such as CD and official merchandise) in Japan especially Tokyo?
ОтветитьI also had some extremely cool experiences in Tokyo such as the Teamlabs that’s there. I plan on making a video myself on it so people who aren’t as fortunate to travel can see what it’s like (videos don’t do it justice) (I’m blessed to be in the US military and traveling for almost free). Loved this video, definitely took some inspiration for my next mainland trip!
ОтветитьWow posting a video with "7.5" in the title when a 7.5 earthquake just happened. Poor taste, terrible disrespect. What a birth.
Ответить🫡
ОтветитьI’m going next month I’m nervous
ОтветитьCan’t wait! Going in March
ОтветитьPlease do make a video on hotel management graduates fresher for jobs in Tokyo...plz I love ur video ❤
ОтветитьKeep the videos coming it's amazing how many places there are to see in Tokyo!! Definitely taking notes for my next trip!!!
Ответитьbeautiful video!
Ответитьhmmm,... anime and manga are really annoying to me (except for anything by Tezuka Osamu ...) (^_^) ... there are really good Cubism and Monet exhibits right now in Ueno, and Shinjuku Sompo Museum has a good Van Gogh exhibit. The best new things I did was concerts at Suntory Hall in Asakusa and visiting Hama Rikyu garden in Chuo Ward. Unfortunately I need to be away from Tokyo this week, otherwise I would go to Tokyo Takurazuka.
ОтветитьThey announced the borderless opening for February 9th, but I’d be missing it by just 4 days (was originally planning for and counting on a late January opening) :’) thanks for the tips, happy holidays!
ОтветитьWas just at the Harry Potter Studio Tour a month ago, hory sheet, it's awesome. I'm not even a HP fan and I was impressed and had a great time. If you are a fan, i imagine this place will blow you away. Also, their food court (both courts, as one is halfway thru, and one at entrance), is SHOCKINGLY good!!! The fried chicken plate is a great value and might be the best western style fried chicken you'll get in Tokyo.
ОтветитьReady to goooo
ОтветитьI accidentally wandered though Miyashita Park when I was in Tokyo in Dec of 2022. I think it was newly opened at the time and many spaces were still vacant. The skate park is super cool, it was later in the evening so I'm not sure it if was open at the time. Kabukicho Tower was still being worked on during this time as well. Looking forward to seeing it all again in 2024! Heading back to Tokyo in March! :)
ОтветитьYes. Needed this video.
Ответитьhope you have a great christmas and awosome new year
Ответитьcan you walk in and buy tickets in harry potter studio? i check online the date i want is not available.
Ответитьplease add chapters to the video
ОтветитьHi Harb! Great recommendations, as usual xD.
Just adding my 2 cents here:
1) Animate: this place is BIG. Better set aside at least an hour of time to explore all floors, and I'd recommend it'd be the first stop in your day; you'll have an easier time stuffing goodies into your backpack. Although, if you're a figure collector, you may be disappointed as they really don't carry that merch. For figures you can't beat second-hand stores in Akihabara; you can get amazing deals on an almost impossibly wide selection if you have the patience to look.
2) Nintendo store: yes, please go on a weekday. Also, when I went, you had to buy entry tickets. Around 1k yen, don't know if it was something special going on that day or what; also, since it's official Nintendo merch, not cheap. If you're lucky, you can look around the clothing sections at Don Quijotes (Donkis) and find some nice clothes there; I found some great Vocaloid collab shirts.
3) teamLabs: please, do yourself a solid and visit this place. The exhibitions are completely immersive and one-of-a-kind. Worth the trip to Odaiba beach alone. And, since you're already there, I'd recommend booking a 6 or 7 p.m. slot for the exhibition, getting there early and go visit the Gundam statue and Gundam base at the nearby mall; especially awesome if you're into gunpla building. You can also visit the Tokyo Big Sight convention center (most areas are open to the public), where the magic of Comiket happens.
4) Bic Camera: this doesn't get mentioned enough, but if you're a tech junkie (like me), please visit the Bic Camera building in Akihabara. You can find just about anything from appliances, pc parts and components, bidets; heck, I could go for hours here.
5) Book Off: amazing second-hands stores sprinkled all over Tokyo. Great place to find games (just about any console), books, manga, DVDs, vynils, etc. at some of the best prices I encountered in my trip.
Cheers!
