This line "How do you want to go out, on your feet or on your knees" is the one thing I referenced to my Soldiers when we were deployed. I didn't want them to try to survive, but to fight the good fight.
ОтветитьPolitics verses leadership. This scene should be taught in every class.
ОтветитьGreat way to say all things are finite and will end; life, jobs, health, beauty, etc. Face the inevitable on your feet or on your knees...face it with dignity and character.
ОтветитьAwesome scene. Extremely memorable 😊

ОтветитьOh Danny Huston. Such a great bad guy.
ОтветитьIf i was the Director of the most sophisticated and highly trained law enforcement, counter intelligence/ National Security agency in the entire world (FBI) I wouldn't back down from any fight. especially if US Citizens were murdered. I would never let something like slide to make a bunch of politicians happy.
ОтветитьTell me this isn't one of the very best you can kill me, but you can't eat me. eff off slick, scenes ever written.
Ответитьwhat is the phrase, "a contre te"? I know its french for at odds. but how do you spell it
ОтветитьThe AG's expression at the end: damn, you're right!!! How about I buy ya a drink?! Let's get hammered!!!
ОтветитьI was t
ОтветитьYou guys are patient
ОтветитьTeaching him its a responsibility and loaned power to honour that responsibility and not f*** his personal privelege.
ОтветитьI dont get one sentence in the FBI chiefs speech: When he says "just seven months before the mid term elections", is he reffering to the president not wanting to lose voters seven months before the elections? Or does the seven months in any way reffer to him sending FBI agents too Saudi Arabia and if yes what does it mean?
ОтветитьThis clip was AHEAD OF ITS TIME concerning the FBI 🤔
ОтветитьI was watching Bone Tomahawk the other night, saw Richard Jenkins and couldn't figure out what scene kept coming to my head where he was some kind of law enforcement, maybe FBI where he was giving a very frank speech to somebody. Finally found it. This scene for some reason embodies Richard Jenkins for me.
ОтветитьTruly one of the most profound movie scenes i have ever seen in my life.
ОтветитьThat Westmoreland line is total bullshit. The Viet Cong got their asses handed to them in Tet '68, figuratively speaking, of course. More Commie effluvium to distort history. Not even Westmoreland would issue such a stupid order.
ОтветитьThis should have way many views and comments. This is real life and my attitude everyone I get called into the office for doing my job.
ОтветитьIt’s too bad that this kind of integrity at the FBI is only in the imagination of a talented screenwriter.
ОтветитьNo doubt I should’ve said that to the ex-old lady thirty one years ago when we were done.
ОтветитьThe best part is the cut to the attorney general’s face as soon as the FBI director mentioned Westmorland, their obituaries, and Tet—like, “Oh yeah; this guy’s a vet of the Vietnam War during some of its nastiest stretches. He’s not afraid of me, let alone any of this political horseshit.”
Ответитьendeavor enhances merit
ОтветитьNow who's gona be the 1st one to tell their boss at work this line? 🤣😂😂🤣
ОтветитьI’m sorry if it seems like a stupid question, but why is this scene so powerful as what others have described? Esp, at the end when he mentioned “you should do the same..”
ОтветитьAdd subtitles 😭
ОтветитьSo poignant that I searched for it and saved it👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьWow, this might be one of the most intelligent smackdowns in cinema history. The scriptwriter wrote some great lines and Richard Jenkins delivers perfectly. When someone tries to threaten you, the reply that "I learned to not fear anything, even death", leaves the attorney general in this scene completely powerless.
ОтветитьJust watched this movie rip Faris the goat 🐐
ОтветитьImagine our political and government leaders speaking with no bullshit to the public just like this. Would certainly give the dose of reality we need right now
ОтветитьI've told people things like that when they've tried to threaten me. I've signed/updated my last will and testament half a dozen times and nearly cashed out at least a dozen and a half times in Iraq. That all being said, a beating does not frighten me. Disciplinary action does not frighten me. Jail does not frighten me. Cops don't scare me (A fact that pisses them off sometimes. Being ex-military, I see them as comrades-in-arms. True, the military and police are not the same thing, but there are more similarities than differences. Quite a few people have tried to kill me. Some of them did not survive it.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite scene in the movie.
Ответить"The end comes no matter what, the only thing that matter is how do you want to go out. On your feet or on your knees." One of life's truest lessons.
ОтветитьThe script writer needs credit for this. My favorite line in a movie because you can use this in your own personal life. I do in my professional career. When you know your job is finite no matter what, it liberates you to do better and removes a certain amount of stress to make the right decision. You also retain your integrity.
ОтветитьGangster response.
ОтветитьThe slap down
ОтветитьFuk the government...........cherry tree my friends......cherry tree
ОтветитьChristopher Krebs......🤔
ОтветитьWTH MAN
ОтветитьRichard Jenkins is one the most under-rated actors out there... I love the scene!
Ответитьmy man took that ass chewing like a pro and then handed the Attorney General his own ass. Beautifully done.
Ответитьwow...he smokes that dude. awesome.
ОтветитьThe end comes no matter what. Great line.
ОтветитьLove it and it so true. The end comes no matter what
ОтветитьWe called a samurai this kind of person
Ответитьi was fired from a job, set up to take the fall for a higher up. they lured me into a meeting where they all proceeded to inform me of my misconduct. at first i thought i must be dreaming, that it wasn't really happening. this only happened in movies. i was caught off guard, i didn't see it coming. instead of reacting with anger and surprise i remained stonefaced. those who i thought were allies couldn't look me in the eye. sometimes the only real difference between a friend and an enemy is the day of the week. i could have easily defended myself but, i knew that nothing i could do or say at that moment would change what was happening to me. i let them finish, went to my office and collected my family photographs. all without saying a word and totally expressionless. left everything else behind. dropped my keys with the receptionist on the way out. it's been a few years now and all i have to say about this former employer is, not all karma is good karma. i've moved on and till today i'm damn proud of the way i handled that. didn't sue anyone, didn't utter a derogatory word. i figure that's what the FBI director is talking about when he's says it's your choice on how you want to go out.
Ответитьthe most powerful, badass dialogue in this movie.
ОтветитьSimply one of the best movie scenes ever
ОтветитьWell said! Should send this to the GOP congress
