You consistently blow my mind, Catherine! Thank you for another delicious recipe tutorial!! 😃
ОтветитьCan you do a pickled squash tutorial for us? That sounds delicious too!
Ответить❤awesome. Great for football season. Thank you
ОтветитьYou need more oil in your pan create a real fritter. It has to be a drop fry. That's the way many of us Italians do it anyway. We also often use the flowers of the yellow squash. Not just a squash itself.
ОтветитьPrecisely what I am going to make today! I needed reassurance that I could use yellow squash for making patties. THANK YOU ♥
ОтветитьTwo bites for me please 🥺❤️
ОтветитьLooks delicious. I was struggling with yellow squash not really my favorite. I love all the other squash. I'm trying this thank you. I will let you no.
ОтветитьWhat kind of breading for the squash to fry
ОтветитьCan’t wait to try this what if I don’t have parmesan cheese? Would it still turn out good should I replace it with something else? I honestly don’t think I have any cheese right now lol.
ОтветитьLove your Recipes can't wait to get me some so I can try this
ОтветитьTY, I'm hungry now 😂

Ответитьusing a food processor would be much quicker
ОтветитьI would start a series and call it " out the pantry into the car" make recipes with common food bank foods
ОтветитьEggplant casserole. Yummy. 😋😋😋😋😋

ОтветитьIt was the thumb for me at the end lol... I'm definetly am about to make those tonight🤣
ОтветитьRemember eating these as a child thanks for reminding me how good and easy they are
ОтветитьI love grilled & creamed yellow)squash !!
ОтветитьI think id mix flour n seasonings together and mix before adding to squash. I love squash too.gonna try this ty
ОтветитьYum some with a ranch dressing to dip too!!❤❤❤
ОтветитьLooking for recipes, I seen another video where they only cut one end of the squash so they could hold it when they were completing the shredding. Keeps your fingers safe, and toss the uncut end.😊
ОтветитьMade these before with a small difference.
After shredding the squash, placed it over a cheese cloth. Folded the cloth and twisted, this removed most moisture. Same dry ingredients, but also added 1/4 cup of corn starch, helps dry out the patties. As to veggies, finely diced scallions, parsley, and carrots. Also used minced garlic.
The mix comes out dryer and the patties are crispy.
Also made a dipping sauce. Mayo/sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
I can’t wait until I try these❤
ОтветитьWould you serve this with any kind of aïoli or dipping sauce?
ОтветитьThks for clear instructions! I’m going to make them! Ahna
Ответить❤
ОтветитьWhy not use a food processor?
ОтветитьWhen I was growing up the worst food in the world was summer squash. Now I think it's about the best tasting vegetable out there.
ОтветитьSimply delicious!
ОтветитьAwesome. Been looking for something to do with the squash running rampant in my garden!
ОтветитьI like the recipe but i never did find it in looking through the description ..i will just try to make it a i watch..it looks very good..
ОтветитьImma try this right now!
ОтветитьThis recipe is new to me. Looks so delicious! I am an old girl now. I truly wish I had, had someone that taught me how to cook. My sisters too. We were allowed to peel potatoes, tomatoes, or boiled eggs. But no more than that . Mom would chip them up and then cook. We were discourage from lingering in the kitchen. Mom always made it feel as though it was hard to cook and quite a sacrifice on her part. I sure it was. Maybe it was to many hands in the kitchen, I dont know. Mom was a good cook. She used no recipes. And when we had the means she was able to cook fresh vegatables deliciously! Even poke salad.
Another factor in my failure to learn to cook was that I got out of school early and worked a full-time job from 12pm-9pm for most of my 10th, 11th and 12th grade years. Went to band before school. Left home early got home late, around 9:39pm. I got married young, right out of high school. I had no idea how to cook, but really wanted to cook well. I worked full-time at work and at home. After 4 years we had a child. I became the bread winner for the home. In order to make a living I took on harder and harder manual labor jobs.
Ladies, I know how men feel when they have worked so hard in the cold and heat. Sweated or shivered all day. Their bodies and minds are spent. All they want to do is just get home to a loving home.
The dream is to have someone to be waiting and happy to see them come though the door. Some may hope for their home to be clean and inviting. Men also hope there is a delicious, good home cook meal waiting for them and that their lady is fresh and has something appealing on.
Of course for me it was the other way around. I wish my man was happily there with home cooked meal. Him fresh with something sexy on. lol on all 3 of my wishes.
But through it all I have to shout and PRAISE GOD! GOD IS SO GOOD! He has always made away for me! Good jobs, the strenght to do the jobs and the knowledge to learn, pass test and apprenticeship(s), learn new skills and succeed! Even be sought out by management to complete troubled or complicated work situations.
Even then I never really had the opportunity to learn to really country cook.
Now that I am retired,
I am so happy I found you. I enjoy that you are able to be specific with what tools to use like saying box shedder and deep frying pan. Also even sharing that you are using avocado oil and butter. It is so basic, but I have a learned fear that cooking is hard.
Thank you! I think I might start here. I subscribed today and liked. I am looking forward to learning to cook with you. I hope alot of young woman find your channel too. God bless you and your home!
