So I can summarize a bit L. Pavlichenko in reality vs. the film as, of course, it is stuffed with pop lies and is overall a love story which they better not "base on true events"

So in the film evil NKVD forced her to become sniper after she suddenly shot well at a shooting range, in fact earlier her father took her to a factory's shooting club where she trained and later she willingly went to Voroshilov shooting school, she liked it!
How to stop a tank - a guy said need to shoot through the driver window twice, of course, this is bullshit and a big exaggeration, it could not penetrate the window not to mention that it would be miraculous to reach the same point twice in that situation, tanks were not destroyed like that, but she had to be all rounded rambo ((
First battle is fake too, in fact as she honestly said in her memoirs she did not kill anyone the first battle and she had a rifle without a scope, nothing significant happened to her, no assaults with troops which is another bullshit, no tank kills. Later when she fought sometimes they were 600 m behind the 1st trench line, nothing like the film where she ran around in assault a few times
Marriage and sex: in fact she got injured, the 2nd guy helped her and shared blood in hospital and visited her daily and that proposed, he did not fight with fellows for her, he did not take her to fuck in a random bunker
She was evacuated in the end because she was injured and all injured were evacuated first regardless of having a pass! But in the film the doc which is not a real person btw shared a pass to her and thus saved her life in this awful totalitarian machine as always...
And the secret police guy who was with her in Washington is another filthy KGB type maniac in the film while in fact he is a hardened war hero and did not misconduct
And another interesting fact: when she was at Stalin's office Stalin asked good contrete questions showing knowledge of military service etc. and then she felt comfortable and brave enough to ask him to let her back to front, she said she could fight more and survive well with her EXP, but he said that she might kill a hundred and get killed herself or he might teach a hundred of snipers and share her precious knowledge and if everyone kills at least 10, it will be a thousand! And that affected her a lot and she became an instructor

Such a brilliant personality and story, many other good characters were put in mud and then got twisted in the way as it happens today with easy hook ups after exchanging a few sentences and stupid unreasonable hatred to somebody, like she hated men for unknown reason before she loved a few guys (while IRL only 2, the 1st died), she liked killing Germans and had maniac smile and other typical hollywood stereotypes. Movie makers make films about themselves in fact, they are like that, fuckery and orgies are normal for them, any stupid stereorypes without proofs too, they are far from real Soviet people, thus can't even realise what is the difference (( At least they could have read more about it
I liked the film except for such moments and now I dislike it even more, I am sick of such, it is okay for today sick world, but it is fake in terms of following history at least a bit ((

Why are all these war movies from Russia (or other ex-soviet state's) set in a 'dark' and 'cold' atmosphere? Color patern are almost always blue, white, black, brown, grey.. Ok Leningrad, Stalingrad.. Battles fought out in kinda cold weather, I know. But it would be very cool to see a war movie from the Soviet perspective set in the spring or summer, or in a "warmer" atmosphere with green, gold and yellow as color paterns. Set in Ukraine or Belarus by ex.. which has these kind of landscape's (especially in the summer or spring). A huge part of WW2 was fought over there.. A movie set in those atmosphere (about the Russians) would look great IMO... Are there Russian war movies, set in those atmosphere's (Ukraine by ex..)?
