editing sprites on the go. wow! Is there another emulator changing palette and sprite while in game?
ОтветитьThe mid to late 1990's was such a great time in hindsight, multi player Goldeneye and mariokart, soul calibur, FIFA are standouts from that era.
ОтветитьAmazing dudes who backwards engineered all these consoles and systems. Now we take it for granted to read through almost every systems complete fully documented memory maps
Ответитьmy first machine was a 100mhz compaq presario....I remember nesticle
ОтветитьTesticle
ОтветитьUsed to run it on my 486 DX4 100 and had to take stacks of floppy disks to my friends house to download the ROMs over dialup :D
ОтветитьWhen NESticle came out it was the only time I really messed with emulators. It's pretty crazy now and more professional looking
Ответитьi just got my 6502 emulator working, if it ever runs the intro of super mario bros i will consider my life worthy
ОтветитьNesticle is sus name
Ответитьi remember loading on nesticle to every computer in the back row in the highschool lab so i could always play it no matter which seat i got haha
ОтветитьI just got a PC in 1998. I had the consoles and my buddies would always come over on the weekends to game. My buddy downloaded Nesticle. Great times.
ОтветитьAll hail the Fecal Lord. Yeah $hitman! Lol 😂
ОтветитьI remember some insane person releasing an NES emulator that was an mIRC script. lol
Granted, it BARELY ran Super Mario Bros. But still. It RAN it.
Someone else did a similar thing in either Basic or Qbasic with the same as the above. It RAN games... didn't really PLAY them.
And another neat emulation thing... the GBA was emulated before the system even RELEASED. Granted... at the time there was just the Yoshi demo that "kinda" ran and a LOT of people releasing homebrew games and demos. They were simple and, well, only "ran" at the time. But still... was damned impressive for the time.
With regards to NESticle? That was THE emulator back then for NES considering people like me who were still rocking a 486.
How was school Jonny?
Great mom. Mr Harris let us play with our nesticles
Any modern Nes EMU's with all those cool-ass features or what?
ОтветитьReplace n with t
Ответитьbruh this brought out some repressed memories about an old aunt wanting me to download *my* nesticles into her PC.
ОтветитьNestopia is the one i used i installed it on my school computer
ОтветитьIt's cool this guy was around during this time
ОтветитьWhen I first saw this and genecyst in July of 1997 I literally couldn't believe what I was seeing. Such an amazing time. This came out just at the right time to "unlock" all those games I only dreamt of playing as a kid but couldn't due to cost/availability
