As a volleyball player, I can actually see the difference. In volleyball, there are 2 types of jump serve. Float and top spin. To float the ball, u need to keep ur hand and palm stiff and hit the ball in the middle so it has no spin and basically goes nuts in the air. You can also compare it to a knuckle ball from soccer. So that's what he is trying to explain. Hope it helped.❤

Definitely disagree. The "wrong" serve is not a floater, it's a very effective curly serve if you do it properly. They have totally different goals -- or at least they should.

Serve is the first 101 thing that you need to master before going to other division e.g. spiker, libero, setter
