I need one.
ОтветитьDid you ever give out the free gift yet? Hope I'm not too late.
ОтветитьThank you! You answered my question on why I see people connect positive to positive and negative to negative using these things!
ОтветитьNo way I can do a non offensive comment.
ОтветитьNoco best
ОтветитьDo you still feel the same today about lead acid multifunctional jumping starters? Did they improve?
ОтветитьBuy a quantity name brand like Fantic t8 apex 2000 , buy once cry once . 😃👍
ОтветитьThat link is no more plus it was 5 years ago
ОтветитьHi, we have a car starter source that we need you to test and send us a video of. Would you be interested in working with us?
ОтветитьIs the contest still on?
ОтветитьYou could destroy your alternator easily with a good deed
Ответить😏 Wish I had seen this video 2 days ago before I ordered my new Stanley fatmax jump starter.
ОтветитьNice thanks
ОтветитьYou caught my attention I’m a female with grand girls and that would help me with my Chevrolet truck you were very informative I will continue to listen to to your channel I do need one of these
Thk u
yes. but its also well known that lithium ion have a propensity to self combust. and with that type of stored energy. if one did go off inside of a car, you can pretty much kiss your vehicle goodbye. can you speak to this Scotty?
ОтветитьPut it on the starter directly
ОтветитьAdrenaline not Cringe
ОтветитьBest thing about this same jumpers a lot more power and a lot later and the longer life span than bad acid and you can charge them by your 12 volt car socket lead acid jumpers you have to charge them at home or by an AC outlet.
ОтветитьThe lead acid will work better in colder weather.
ОтветитьIt killed my old jeep's computer...
ОтветитьHey, Scotty...what was the brand for the solar powered trickle charger again?
ОтветитьYeah guys, you dont need those big jump starters for your gasoline car, get one of those small ones for like $60. Those bigs ones are ideal for trucks and diesel engines, for a car, its over kill. The smaller ones of lithium ion batteries dont degrade as near as fas and as bas as the lead acid batteries. Personally I think that the lead acid ones pretty much defunct technology where other tech is just superior. We still have them around because companies dont want to shelve them for missed sales and old fogies still want to buy them.
ОтветитьWhich one should I never use? Lol.
ОтветитьWhen it mentions 1000 times, what that's referring to is the charging life cycle of the LI--On batteries that make up those units, not 1000 batteries jumped...The nice thing with the lead acid batter units, is the battery can be replaced with a new one...The batteries are smaller batteries as for a motorcycle or lawn equipment, but easily replaced and they have the self contained battery tender within them...
ОтветитьI keep one in my car and recently used it to start my 5.5 kW Generator. Another good use to exercise it a little. I don’t keep a lead acid in the genset anymore. Never used enough.
ОтветитьGreat video as always!
Ответить⁷
ОтветитьThank you.
I could not get the jump-starter to work until I connected the- POS & the NEG -then turned on the on switch. (Attching it to the frame, per the instructions, wasn't working.) Now that I did what you said, my 2014 Chevy Tahoe started right up.
Scotty your first review of the Top Vision jump pack made me go and buy two one for me and pops. That little jumppack has helped so many random ppl 😂. It has three ports and usb c for cell phones, and it holds a charge thru summer and winter month in the trunk.
ОтветитьThis vid is 4 years old now now. Which jump box will you say is good now. In the year of 2024?
I need one for a 1999 Ford e150. The big engine one.
Sorry Scotty. I love ALL of your work. But the JNC 770R has ALWAYS worked if in a jam. No damage to my cars.
Ответить1 thing: never leave lithium starter inside car on direct sun in hot summer! They don't like heat! and even can blow starting fire!
ОтветитьNonsense 600 amps no use to anyone
ОтветитьSo I wonder why we are all buying $250 lead-acid batteries for our cars? One of these lithium 1000 cycle batteries could last about three years and cost just $89. All you need is a super cheap 12 volt inverter to keep it charged from your alternator whenever the car is running.
ОтветитьEveryone needs a mobile first aid kit. Sign me up.
ОтветитьWhen I see you 👀, automatically dislike 👎, because I don’t have time for bla bla
ОтветитьI have a lithium small one. Bought 2 years ago. Hope it last me
ОтветитьThe older I get the more I talk with my hands like Scotty
ОтветитьVery good information. I always watch your blog whenever I have car problem
ОтветитьGood info. I am in market.
Ответить- space2
- lead acid type? lithium?
- voltage
- amps 300 to 1000 to 2000 (starting current)
- engine litres 6.0
- lifespan 1000 times (lithium)
I have one and they're great!🎉
ОтветитьLove watching your videos. I share them a lot. When I had my Camry you helped me . That jumper starter would have helped
ОтветитьI like them !!!
ОтветитьWe love you scotty. Youve become a nostalgic staple in so many car guys lives.
ОтветитьDo keep in mind that the jump starter will be ruined if you leave it in your car. I found my jump start battery was swollen from the heat. Paid about $75, its kind of a kick in the head if you can't leave them in your car for emergencies. Other than that, they are awesome!
ОтветитьJust be aware that if your car's main battery is completely flat, the jump starter will not be able to detect a voltage and will thus not be able to confirm that you have connected it with the right polarity. Some jump starters then refuse to work, though you can over-ride this if you have read the instructions and can remember which buttons to press. If you can't remember, you are stuffed!
ОтветитьPukey pissy poopy snot. 😝
