This movie is over hated just cause Emma Watson isn’t a singer but she played Belle so good and in another level, not to say this was the best musical number by far. One of the best live actions along with Jungle Book.

I wish Disney would do more of these!

Nice visuals, but the old voice actor sounded way better and I liked the animation more. The visuals are stunning though. With Emma Watson this also kinda looks like a Harry Potter scene but if Disney made it.

Halle nailed Under The Sea.... but same can't be said for Emma Watson

I love Ewan McGregor's singing, as well as Emma Thompson's. The other Emma, not that much. She's totally flat in facial expressions here (yes, some people will say it's justified due to her being kidnapped, but so was the cartoon Belle from the 1990s, and she showed awe and emotion in this scene). And she was not able to make me believe or buy the fact that she had fallen in live with the Beast. Zero chemistry at all.

Emma Watson is literally the only part of this scene that is not CGI. Everything else, including Lumiere and Cogsworth, were created through CGI and motion capture. Emma was actually filmed in an completely empty room, sitting on a chair and smiling and giggling to crew members telling her jokes.

Belle being out of focus during this scene and smiling for no apparent reason was due to the fact that Emma Watson was actually filmed sitting on a chair in completely empty room, without other actors. She was actually smiling to crew members telling her jokes while she was being filmed doing absolutely nothing but sitting in a chair. Literally everything else in this scene, including the big chair she is seen sitting on is CGI.
Likewise, Ewan McGregor also filmed all of his scenes as Lumiere separately from other actors, as he was nervous about performing in motion capture suit in front of other actors, so he was filmed also in an empty room with just crew members around.
