If you still think there aren't aliens watching us you're becoming the fringe conspiracy believer. Aliens aren't just here..most of them want to see love and peace spread through our culture.

I just finish telling my kids that the last Lex Fridman podcast has to be his best and that they need to watch it. Then, you have another one like this one that surpasses my last favorite. Two really smart dudes talking about some extremely cool stuff. Love the laughter too. Absolutely fantastic. I gotta get his book. Thank you again Lex.

Even if we do colonize Mars, and this guy dies there, he will not "know" that he is among the first wave of people that expand humanity's reach into the stars. Colonizing Mars in a sustained way will be very expensive and problematic in itself; "reaching into the stars", a minimum of 25 trillion miles away, to colonize other planets, will be several orders of magnitude more difficult to do successfully than colonizing Mars.

Please don't end this podcast.
Much success if it ends.

A small piece to play in a universe that does not care that you passed through though.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
The universe doesn't care about you.
And you won't care once you are gone.
Hopefully someone will miss you when you are gone, before they become gone too.
What a mess.
Believing in God as the Creator doesn't make life make more sense or make things any easier either.
Life is troubling either way.
So there we go.
I've had God communicate with me concretely in so many ways.
It didn't make my life easier over the years.
Maybe it kept me alive this far.
I have a tendency to dream of ending things.
I just felt more guided over the years, that's all.
I don't really care anymore if I leave a legacy or affect anyone's life for the better anymore.
Not really. Maybe still a little bit.
I'm just trying to survive the next thing that life has done to me.
I do feel a lot more peace these days though with letting go from feeling responsible for people.
I'm grateful about that.
It's a lot of stress caring about people.

This guy is living in a science fiction movie - not reality. Obviously a really smart dude, but says some really dumb shit.
