Tons of fans are old enough and way older so most know Goldust but the crowd itself here was dull the whole night, very quiet. Things became to virtual as in people are on their phones, aren't surprised anymore since the internet and other things ruin many things we all cared about. People online dating now get ordered for perfection needs or you're dumped. People used to go rent movies and games and look forward to it. They got excited. Now you just download it fast without no waiting and anticipation. It's all fucked up how life is now.

Damn fucking shame fans nowadays know Cena more than Goldust from the Golden Era. I couldn't shake my head more disappointingly..

I was Legally excited for this confrontation because I thought goldust was actually getting a legit push. When he blindsided John Cena and kind of sort of turned heel and then of course they ruined it all by having typical John Cena win. And then Goldust went back to just being I got guy just on roster. WWE managed to ruin it again and again golden opportunity ruined.

Goldust was a straight up superstar his whole career. He man handled and beat Undertaker in a casket match (with help from Mankind but still....)

AEW should push Goldust as unbeatable for a while as a going out gift, because it would be believable and great to see.

I always thought if Goldust had pivoted from this to a Joker/Riddler-esque character ala Malibu Sting to Crow Sting, He could have had an extension to his career and a final push.
His line delivery always sounded like a mix Mark Hamill and Heath Ledger’s Joker so i thought he could have killed that angle. Dude belongs in the Hall of Fame
