How to Update AMD Chipset Drivers

dude you made it so simple. I appreciate you. I just build my first PC.

I am having troubles with running the program. When it inspects my system config I am blocked because I don't have a hd and ssd. Could you please help me fix this?

the issue ive been having is that the amd chipset wont stay updated ( amd ryzen 7 1800x) mw3 and rust is running at 20-80fps with stutters

I did this and my computer froze when restarting and couldn't even reinstall windows, somehow I kept trying to install windows and it worked but do you have any ideia what might have happened?

does windows automatically update them? When i update my 3600 my pc just keeps restarting

if I wipe the pc to factory mode, would the latest drivers be installed automatically?

Is there any benefit to installing from the motherboard site rather than the ones on AMDs website?

I noticed the version on Asus is older but is there anything about them that could be specific to my motherboard that could be beneficial?

Question sir. I just got a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Have not installed it yet. Currently have a R5 3600. I already updates the Bios to latest version. Should I do this Now, or it needs to be done once I actually install the 5800X3D. Thx for help. Sorry I’m dumb. I just got back into a PC after about 14 years out of the game.

I got a little issue with my pc every time I’m gaming my ping spikes from 50 ms to 150 every 10 seconds I know it’s not my internet because I have a very good ping I checked in command prompt I tried multiple solutions beside updating my AMD b550 chipset , my ps5 doesn’t ping spike at all so I know it’s something wrong with my pc I just bought it prebuilt from a guy a month ago windows 11 what should I do ? I don’t run Ethernet I run wireless with Wi-Fi antennas in the back of my pc

I followed ur steps and when i got to see the specs in the mother board chipset , it said AMD Promontory/Bixby FCH
And on the other panel it said platform FP6
Now idk wtf to do now , please help me ❤️

Aside from my new CPU (ryzen 9 5900x) not having adequate cooling… can out of date chipset drivers cause the CPU to be 100% utilized under no load? (I’m almost certain my issue is due to thermal throttling but thought I’d ask)

Hi. Thank you for this. I'm praying that you can reply to me! I have a B450 gaming-f and I don't update the chipset since 2020. That's when I got the MOBO. Now, I want to update it but in the page it says that they suggest you to remove the old driver in order to install the new but I'm not sure how to uninstall it and I'm not sure if it has to be on windows safe mode. Can I just download the new chipset, run it and just follow the same as the video? does it replaces the old chipset driver?
