Nice, this is what i needed, thank you 🙏
ОтветитьVery helpful!!
Ответитьthank you!!!! this video helps me a loooooooooooot!!!
Ответитьthank you......
ОтветитьHow did you get to connect the SIN output of the VCO to the VCF CUT? With the ADSR output already connected to CUT, it won't let me add the LFO SIN out as well.
ОтветитьSweet. Do you know how to assighn whatever notes you want to the typing keyboard. it would be cool if the whole thing , (numbers and even Fkeys )was rows of alternating diatonic and pentatonic scales all in the same key with no keys that do not sound.
ОтветитьSuper helpful, thank you!
Ответитьthe VCV Reverb is listed at $149... am i misunderstanding something? this is day 1 for me making synth music.
ОтветитьHow are you changing the cable color on the fly?
ОтветитьCan you make a video on the generative patch you made here on VCV. There's a lot going on.
Ответитьthank you!
doesn't seem to let me add LFO sine cable to VCF cut off (even while holding ctrl)
VCV Rack 2 Pro + Bitwig modulators = Everything you need.
ОтветитьMore modular and more Ambient/Dubby/Glitch Infiltrator2 stuff please. Love the content and enthusiasm to teach. Thank you! Fun watching!!
ОтветитьI'm seeing so many people talking about modular set ups lately. I've played with VCV a bit, but haven't really taken the plunge into really doing anything with beyond just going "ok I can connect a couple things together and make a simple thing, yup that was fun..."
It is fun though. Especially since I got introduced to synthesis by using a vintage Buchla. Lots of running cables around and then taking a photo or two plus writing it all down to make sure you could do it again later.
If you could make more tutorials that would be great
ОтветитьAwesome tutorial Chris!! I followed along and this was my very first time on VCV Rack! Thank you!
Ответитьwe want more of these!!
ОтветитьHey, if you are interested in further tutorials on VCV rack - Omri Cohen is someone to check! He is The Name when comes to VCV tutorials.
Ответитьmore vcv tutorials
ОтветитьHi - Steve from MindMeld here. Great tutorial for those starting out!. One thing I noticed at the end though - you connected the reverb outputs to 2 separate MixMaster tracks panned left and right. There's no need for that - every track on MixMaster is stereo. So you can just cable the reverb outputs to the L & R inputs on a single track of the mixer (and leave the panning centred). You get exactly the same result but only use up one track on the mixer rather than two.
ОтветитьThe Cardinal version is also really cool and you can run it in a DAW!
ОтветитьWell. I had planned on spending time with Diva this weekend before making a purchase. Looks like I’ll be checking out VCV Rack as well. Thank you for this.
ОтветитьThanks for the great tutorial.
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьreally cool video man
ОтветитьVery enlightening, Chris. I initially resisted modular synthesis due to the excessive costs of the hardware. But now, with virtual modular, this seems very doable. I have been following the hardware modular technologies since way back in the PAIA days in junior high school, even designing my own synth. This video now sparks an enthusiastic wave of interest in me. I will have to go back and rewatch your other VCV videos. As always, great job!
Ответитьwow the sound when you plugged that reverb in...
Ответить🔥🏆Thank you so much for making this video, it’s surly needed and I hope you make it a series🏆🔥
ОтветитьFinally a tutorial that is made for me. TYVM!
ОтветитьHaah such a crazy puzzle. It's like cooking from scratch.
ОтветитьAwesome! I needed a tutorial like this to get me going and to help me wrap my head around modular synthesis. As always, an extremely clear and understandable tutorial. Thanks! Into the rabbit hole i go!
ОтветитьThanks Chris, this was a great start down this lovely rabbit hole! Really appreciate the use of the stock units for those of us just getting started. I'd love to see this evolve into an actual soup to nuts training course, even a paid one. Your teaching style and obvious enthusiasm for the subject is truly contagious and motivating!
