Just tuned my grandmother's old guitar and was trying to figure this out by ear. I am a beginner and find even "easy" songs very hard, but I'll get there one day. Thanks for posting this

It gives me a real satisfaction to learn this song, unlike any other. The melody is so good, special like almost all songs, but much more beautiful and touching. It feels like a personal song, something that i would have put together if i was as talented as Metallica. This is the thing, they know how to be themselves with their songs, be pure, thats why the message is sent so clean. Each note has a specific purpose, if i miss just one the song feels different, theres nothing extra or lacking (im not a musician, just play asa hobbie)

Thia was one of the songs my dad used to try and teach me before he had succumbed to alcohol addiction and passed away two years ago. And now I’ve started a journey to hunt down and learn the rest of what he taught me of those songs, now alone so that I may visit him after I die and be able to say as his daughter that I’ve completed what he couldn’t. I hope he can be proud of me and we can talk about music like we did before. Thank you for this cover <3
