My favourite runner of all time 🏆
ОтветитьAbsolutely Incredible. What makes this great for me is at 15 seconds the camera angle which follows the athletes at their level takes this race to another level. You can see these guys give everything. It’s thunder. Inspiring.
Ответитьfrom lane 3!
I don't think Lyles would have ran 19.31 from lane 3.
🥇👏👏👏
Ответитьso that’s what a sprinter looks like before steroids.
ОтветитьMJ may not have the greatest speed, but his biomechanics were really good.
ОтветитьApparently, he couldn't have done it without Hershey's Gold. 🙄
ОтветитьDammit Boldon🇹🇹. You could've been one of the best if you just took the roids & ran with it.
ОтветитьMichael Johnson i admire is running style. He makes it look easy
ОтветитьMy GOAT love his running style.
ОтветитьSo unreal. At the time, a 19.32 was something u could only imagine being reached 30+ yrs down the line (literally). It was the equivalent of Bob Beamon’s LJ.. If u knew the sport, a 19.32 was a hard thing to wrap ur mind around.
ОтветитьThis was an iconic moment at the 1996 Olympics! Michael Johnson breaking his own 200m world record in the 200m Olympic finals in those famous gold shoes!!! Epic!! Salute to the immortal Michael Johnson! Without a doubt, one of the very best track athletes of all time!! Arguably the greatest that the United States has ever produced.
ОтветитьThis guy was full of steroids
ОтветитьOnly other person ive seen ran the curve that fast was yohan blake. Perfection
ОтветитьWith todays tracks that are much better surfaces and faster surfaces to run on its no doubt he would of ran in the 19.24-19.28 range for the 200m.
ОтветитьGreat moment for a great sprinter!
ОтветитьThat side camera angle is the best.
ОтветитьI swear, it even looks like he lets up over the last 5 m or so. Still the most impressive track moment I’ve ever seen.
ОтветитьBest half lap EVER
ОтветитьSteroids does work.
ОтветитьJohnson had a proper personality a true legend in the sport
ОтветитьDo you know how fast you have to be in order put distance between you and the second place guy on the straight away? Michael Johnson was truly dominant.
ОтветитьMy fav sprinter of all time!!!
ОтветитьLFG
ОтветитьThe greatest sprinter ever...Sorry Usain.
ОтветитьDas Pferd!
ОтветитьAlthough Bolt has the current 200m WR but experts in Athletics fraternity agree that the best world record for 200m is the one which was set by Michael Johnson in 1996 - because of the margin. It was such a hi-action moment, that it gives goosebumps to watch that moment even today although it happened in 1996 - particularly the last 50 meters as he chuggs like a locomotive to the finish line. His body is not made of bones, there are certainly some motor parts inside.
ОтветитьAlways been a huge fan, a bigger fan than I was for Bolt, which I wasn't really, didn't like his personality and fake wannebe cool faces he made that wasn't his natural expression (narcism). But Johnson was the real man, always made me think of Eddy Murphy when I was a kid.
ОтветитьWe’re lucky to have him on the BBC commentating on athletics events. Comes across as a thoroughly decent, stand up guy.
ОтветитьCOLD
ОтветитьWOW! Amazing Athlete
ОтветитьGood ol Michael “straight back” Johnson.
ОтветитьHero
ОтветитьMy hero!
ОтветитьI remember this moment.
