The commentaries are not exactly correct. The world record before this race was 46 s 70 (Warholm). Therefore, Dos Santos with 46 s 72 did not brake it…🙂 However , he will do much better the following year by becoming world champion in 46 s 29 😄

This race reminds me of the techsuit era in swimming, where they crushed world records because of a fast swimming suit. There had to be something going on with all those times. 0,8 margin in sprinting is huge and all the others breaking it as well.
