She could marry the Lalla Pasha son, leave harem and became free woman, living with her husband in comfortable conditions. But she decided to stya as a slave in harem (even when she was Sultana, she was still a slave) but close to the man she really loved

If u guys haven't heard of Empress Ki, check out the Kdrama called "Empress Ki." It's as good as Magnificent Century!!!!! Hurrem Sultana (a Turkish-born) was as intelligent as Empress Ki, a Korean-born woman who had the same fate as she did. Both had been enslaved as teenagers in an entirely different country that conquered their homelands, were brought up into a palace, were very intelligent women, and very well known as the Sultan/Emperor's one true love and the first female rulers of a new order!

Directors made sultan fool does any one shout traitors name during crime....

He can't trail or investigate any evil in harem......

He cant prove mahidevran is innocent and hurrem is witch in this case...

I love how Hurrem didn't even think she got appointed. She thought it was Gulfem lol. Proves she never cared about the power, she just needed it to survive and keep hers kids safe

is mahidevaran is a fool or what??? such a dumb women. just the valide died, she immediately wanted that chambers? is she considering herself a valide and her son as king when the king is still alive??? it is the greatest disrespect and shows the revolt aganist the king and also immdiately wanting then just deceased person room just for luxuary shows she has no sadness for the died person!!!! she is a fool and declaring openly that all she interested is in crown with her actions. such a dumb women . if not for mustafa she might not have survived this long

Why did suleiman give the charge of harem to mahi instead his empress hurrem?? Hurrem his married wife, so he deserved it first! Not mahi. Then he asked gulfem's advice who to give the charge of harem.This is illogical. Of course hurram sultan deserved it.

Actually in real life, Hurrem did become Haseki and ruled the harem until her death in 1558
She reign as Haseki was very successful because she did keep order in the harem and made sure it was managed effectively.

Hürrem deserved this. She played the long game and she had brains and beauty. She loved Suleiman and gave him children and built a family and empire with him. She was his advicer, supporter and lover for all these years.

Even here, she got caught and just expected Ibrahim to fix it. "Hurrem did it again, help me, prevent it". The shocked look on her face when he said no. She wanted to do what she wanted without consequences. Doesn't work that way girl. Not for long anyways.

Normally have I give my opinion Of the entire character throughout the drama but this time I'm just going to vent. Mahidevran is a brat!!! She was already entitled before Hurrem and started doing even worse things for her own benefit and to vent her feeling of neglect. Then when she's brought to task, she blames hurrem. Hurrem is not a gem, but she takes responsibility for her actions and does not make decisions that will put Sulaiman or the harrem in a bad spot. Mahidevran has no shame, that's why it's everyone else's fault. Grow up girl.

Mahidevran's biggest mistake was to put her son at the forefront of the firing line to be the future Sultan. He had all the qualities and had he been taught to stand back - he would have ruled the world indeed.
