software like OpenRGB which can control ALL your rgb and does not rely on hundreds of different software to run.
Basically avoiding conflicts, bloatware, etc.

Thanks for the tips, as of right now I am in the process of straightening out my horror show of RGB setup in my pc and its been quite difficult. I have 6 fans currently top and front of pc both are from Thermaltake the pure 12 and pure 14 models and so far I have finally made them work with Armory Crate garbage software, but I cannot control speed of its RGB LED's only through Thermaltake's small controller which I have to re-plug clearly as no other online software deals with fan speeds of RGB lighting. I also am in the process of adding an led strip as when I upgraded my CPU cooler from Deepcool 240 EX RGB to NZXT Kraken 240 Elite non - RGB, I don't have an RGB strip included like I did with Deepcool cooler.

So your recommendation get the phanteks neon led strip one? I dig it its look really beautiful than the regular standard RGB strip but is it installed by 3M tape or magnetic? My whole case I guess is metal I think as I have Thermaltake 71 View Snow Edition all glass panels top, front and back. Does this neon phanteks one also use 5v 3 pin or 12 v connector as I am using ASUS ROG B 550 - F with wifi board and in the process of also adding a fan rgb splitter hub as I only have 1 5v 3 pin rgb port and one 12v port on my board.

There's a project out there called OpenRGB. It's open source and it has support for a variety of hardware. May something worth looking at. I have installed it purely to change the color of my RTX Suprim. The MSI software was absolutely TERRIBLE and bloated. OpenRGB is very light footprint and it even managed to store the color I wanted on the card so that it would survive not just a reboot but also a power off and on situation, which the MSI software was NOT able to do. The MSI software wasn't even able to turn the lights completely off, but this software here had no problem.
It's UI leaves a bit to be desired, but hey... I just wanted a simple way to control a color. I am NOT really into RGB, but now I have it and wanted to color match the card to my case fan RGB.

You should have mentioned the software SignalRGB. They offer you to synchronize all your devices from a single app. Not every device is supported/automatically detected but once you overcome the hurdle of setting this software up the RGB effects you can get are absolutely mind blowing.

if you want rgb to be more effective get a white case for instance if you put red rgb lights on, the case will look red a black case it wont and a colored case will just create rainbow puke a white case gives you more options a red interior one day or a blue then next etc. look at a white case as a blank canvas.

This is great. I have all my parts in to buiild my nerw PC sitting in my dining room waiting for Friday as I work night shift and won't have time until the weekend. I got some of the Phantex Strips for it. In my current PC (2014 build) it has Orange Fans that are Orange only. I don't like it but it was a free hand me down machine from my wife.
The only RGB in my current setup is my Keyboard and mouse My plan for the new system is to make sure everything controls with Aura, and for Colour Scheme i am going to match exactly the colours I have set up in my Logitech Software on my Keyboard and mouse.

I have a nice vibrant Blue and purple on those with the odd key (macro keys) Highlighted in different colours and I have also used Aurora (Diferent from Aura) to program my F1-F12 + Escape + G6-G9 keys of my G910 to Function as a Clock.

Also I used this for the feature I thought was most missing from Logitech's Software that made me search it out in the first place. the ability to have Modifier and lock keys Change the colour of the keys they effect.

For example when I press Shift the Alphaneumeric and symbol keys which are normally blue turn amber in colour as long as shift is depressed.
Caps lock turns the Alphabet keys and itself Amber,
Num Lock turns the number pad and itself Amber
Scroll lock turns itself amber and also activates a hidden Second hand built into the above Function Key Clock display.

I tried Corsair but it didn’t work for me with other brands like razor and since I much prefer razor mice I went with synapse and razor’s ARGB Controller hub. I managed to get this to control everything from my Lian-Li fans and strimmers to even my RGB GPU bracket.
It lets you automate and customise each and every single tiny LED in the entire PC exactly how you want them.
This way I don’t have to install additional bloatware from other companies and every light plays the same animations and colours (after adjusting the brightness)
The only caveat is that I had to automate Lian-Li’s software to turn on with windows, hand over RGB to the motherboard and then switch off a few seconds later but it is a tiny program and it works every time I turn the PC on without fail and doesn’t have to run in the background

I put a LED strip between DIMM#2 and DIMM#3 (non-RGB-Dominator).

I definitely recommend trying Signal RGB. It takes a couple mins to get used to the layout and how to customize it. Nevertheless, l was able to sync Asus Mobo, g skill ram, corsair aio, and fractal rgb fans. The only caveat I encountered was that not all GPU's rgb control is currently supported.

Just got an aquacomputer farbwerk 360 for my foray in to RGB lighting. I think if I were looking for a separate controller, that would be the one I'd choose. Their software looks amazing.

do i really have to use 2 RGB softwares? most parts work with just one program but i need another program for the ram sticks i need to manually sync it each time i power it on! Zzzzzz
