People in the comments are under the impression that this decision means the government can order posts removed from social media. That is not what it does. This case was literally about the government CONTACTING social media companies and REQUESTING that they do more about misinformation. Nothing stops the companies from saying no.

Great news! We need to be able to stop propaganda! We simply must! Nothing wrong with our President trying to keep his or her nation safe! As a matter of I believe that 'all' news agencies, wether they be on broadcast television or the internet. If you say a certain thing then you must have 'facts' to backup what you're reporting to the public at large! Everybody ought to be made to follow the same rules as broadcast news agencies have to follow. Yes that means that cable and the internet, especially the internet, must follow the same rules! Social media companies need to show some respect to the office of the President of the US. The President asks you to remove a post then you should comply out of courtesy. The White House should not have to take you to court.
