FIX Engine Surging on any small engine QUICKLY

I've cleaned a lot of carbs and you did a fine job, however, it was the word "Quickly" that enticed me to watch you do it thoroughly.

What a great dog! I have a 3 y.o. Cub cadet snow blower that I didn't have to use last winter, and I forgot to drain the gas and it turned bad (no air filter on this machine). I took the carb apart and cleaned it, including all the tiny holes in the emulsion tube. If it could be accessed, I cleaned it with wire or sprayed it. It started on the first pull, but it surges. I left it run 20 minutes thinking it might help, but of course it didn't. Since the carb is squeaky clean, do you have any thoughts on what might be causing the surge?

Im working on a 17.5 briggs and Stratton engine.
I replaced the carburetor (new carb) starts right up but surges bad. Normally I would think it was dirty but it is new. I have cleaned fuel tank replaced fuel filter added new fresh fuel then installed new carb. Surges bad . Thanks for any suggestions.

I couldn't fix a hunting problem on a scythe and got a new carb from Ebay. I thought that the original carb had maybe worn with an air leak because of the large amount of rocking action vibration coming from the cutter blades. I reckon now the old carb just needs some carb cleaner to clear out the idle passage way and I might have a working spare. Much thanks for the video.

Help i just cleaned my carburetor and changed the oil with a new blade i put installed also. Paper filter element was not great but it ran. I replaced that also. Now i oulled it started abd cut uo to the other side of the yard. Then it starting surging and shutting off. Now what?

What about if it’s not the carb?

My mower wouldnt start. Changed plug and air filter. Didnt fix it. I changed the carb since it was fairly cheap. Drained gas etc. mower starts up but its running slow. Thoughts?

I replaced the carb on my riding mower and it is now surging/hunting. It actually didn't do this on the old carb at all, but I had to replace it because the old carb float was bad and was allowing fuel to run into the engine. I have tried adjusting idle and mixture but no success. Do you have any advice?

The air doesn't go into the bowl, it sucks air from the filter into the manifold creating vacuum in the venturi which sucks fuel out the jet. There is a pressure relief circuit between the venturi and the bowl to equalize the pressure, allowing the cycle to repeat on the constant.
