You oldsters might remember that black bodies USED TO be more expensive than chrome - by about $20-$35US…

It's the same finish as the M-A I bought and I too somehow scratched it on day one putting in an out of my standard bag which has never scratched anything, it's not a great finish, I sold the MA and that wiped of more value than I was happy about.

I'd feel a bit nervous walking around with 15k of camera gear on me. Which defeats the object of a street photography camera like that.

I've always enjoyed your videos, over the years. I remember your video walking around with the M3 !!

I heard that having a Leica will make you a great photographer. I just wanted a camera that said "Leica" somewhere on it and put gaffer tape over the red dot.

Kai.. lok... help ... ive heard that be best lenses for this m11 are Apo lenses. But... could i use any Asph lens on the m11, without loosing quality ?? Thank you 😁

I give Leica credit for their very long history in photography, and for having a unique identity. As well as carving out a niche audience/market that pays the crazy prices for their cameras. It's an interesting business and marketing strategy. But their cameras are way out of reach for most people. Or certainly what most people are willing to pay. Especially when there are such good Japanese cameras at a fraction of the cost that can do much of the same or much more in many cases. Beautiful cameras for sure. But also far behind in features and innovation.

when trying to translate your perception of a leica into numbers price bargain weight pixels brass etc you miss what is piece of art. go by big brands nikon sony Canon

Built in blackboard and ability to write with dead skin justifies the price.

How is this a camera review? You're just standing in one spot the whole video... damn you've really lost your quality, man.

One really great aspect of the M11 and that lens is that they really don't see you coming. It's tiny in hand and doesn't appear like a professional camera to the uneducated eye. Great for stealthing around and not becoming the center of attention. With the body and lens, that's $16,000 US. Worth it? I think so, for the pro, on the go... the more you know.

Kai + Lok = a very good and creative team imo - my favorite digital Leica M is the "Leica M10 Monochrom", this camera plus a Leica M 35 mm + 75 mm lenses would be all I need for my photography, if I could afford them

I will sleep with anyone who buys me one of these and a lens of my choice.

Why you wear a neck strap? You always barehanded cameras when testing them? Is it because its a Leica? How's the flex factor? Who cares about the pictures.

Why not Lok run his own channel, prefer the channel without Lok 😂
