If we play like we did vs Georgia in the run game and if we throw the ball and pass protect like we have lately then we are not even going to beat Clemson. Our Defense is keeping us afloat but they can't do that all day if our offense doesn't score or gets behind the chains constantly. This team on offense is not playing like a team that's gonna win a Natty. But they could win it if they improve. Like Rod said. Good Quinn is really good and bad Quinn...not gonna say it. Let Arch do something more if we get in a bind.

The false narrative about Dabo and Clemson here really annoys me. I know the sensational stereotype is way more fun than the nuanced reality.

He has very consistently said he is open to and wants to use the portal, dating back over a year and a half. This false narrative that he refuses to use the portal on principle is a lie. And it's really stupid lie.

I think there is a grain of truth, that he doesn't view the portal the same way he views high school recruiting. And that does need to change. With high school, you have your A guys, your B guys, your C guys, if you don't get your top target A guys you go for your B guys, if you don't get your B guys you go for your C guys. With the portal, I think he identified his A targets, who he felt perfectly would fit in and address the needs, etc, and he only went after those guys. After he got outbid for those guys, he took his ball and went home. So he does need to realize, you have to approach portal recruiting and HS recruiting as both being essential and not necessarily just additive value. However, he has been very consistent in saying that he WANTS to use the portal, now he just needs to learn to prioritize it more.
