I like to see legacy brands to succeed the digital transformation but unfortunately most of them talks about how many new products are in the plan. The consumer don't need more new models but product that fits their needs and improve their everyday life, product that is truly user centered. The conventional tech centric, styling driven products are not the reasons to retain the customers. It is what do you bring that make your customers' everyday life better, true seamless cross device personal digital experience, a state of the art navigation solutions, zero charging anxiety, new transaction model since vehicles are so expensive nowadays, etc... Honestly I see this as a business talk with no customer in mind but talk for share holders. Perhaps this is the purpose.

I think Nissan is way too slow in bringing each product to different markets. The E-power platform has great potential over ICE and should have been pushed out a few years ago before Chinese EVs went big.
And don't focus too much on SUVs, now it's the right time to bring back performance sedans and sport coupes... just dig up the old legend nameplates and make it happened like you did with the Z. With today's tech, it would be so easy to produce a 400-500+hp EV Silvia or Maxima.

Way overdue Nissan. What took so long to launch e-power in North America? Still looking forward to a the revival of Xterra. Hopefully Nissan realized the success of the Frontier and will convert that to a Xterra and a new generation of Pathfinder.

I hope all these cost savings will benefit the consumer. Heck when I heard the price point of the QX80 around $80,000 to well over a $100,000 I rather get a new house. Come on I get inflation but with this 3-4yr plan a simple base model compact might cost $50,000 in 2 more years.

Woke up this morning to see Fisker drop 30%. I’m guessing Nissan isn’t coming to rescue them.

Re: Nissan. I want to see them bring back the body on frame Pathfinder. People love the, ironically, uncomfortable rugged, do-anything masculine “truck” style SUVs. Bring back the icon!

I also expect to see the next electric Z car. I also expect Mazda to develop that amazing RX7 looking EV. Bring back the 1990s high tech driver’s focused Japanese sports cars!
