Theme parks attract crowds…who knew?

Disney seemed crazy dated when I went there, like they had this space world zone, with the space mountain ride, it was like something from 50 years ago, the whole thing looked pretty rubbish to be honest, and the ride was really tame too. All the zones and rides where like this. It made me wonder if these are all the same rides, and sets, they had since it originally opened, it sure looked like it.

100% of these issues is simply that Disney World has become way too popular and more people can afford to go there from various parts of the world. Disney is struggling to keep up with the demand and it shows. The only answer is to dilute the brand a bit and put more Disney Worlds in other parts of the world, and even in North America.

The logistics of the Disney parks are absolute garbage. You’d think a multi-billion dollar corporation could hire someone to work out the logistics so the queuing line for a single attraction isn’t bordering two hours. I’m working on building a Discord server, and I could probably solo the logistics and administrative end in my limited free time better than Disney handles the logistics of their parks.

as someone who used to go to disney world until it became over crowded and too expensive, try disneyland. I know it small, but it still has the banger rides and is less crowded. I was able to ride Pirates and Haunted Mansion like 4x each in one day as well as the rest of the park, like old times at WDW

For me, Genie+ and Fastpasses are never a problem for me. My Father is active duty in the military, so that stuff is free/we get preferred treatment. Also tickets are way cheaper, but we’re annual passholders.

Genie plus is THE best investment you can make to make your trip so much better. You’re already paying like 150/ticket per person anyways, what’s really a 15 dollar difference? (The same price as chicken tenders mind you) don’t be cheap when it comes to fast pass and you’ll instantly have a way better time! Wait times are nonexistent and in reality it is very achievable to ride every ride via the fast pass system

The problem is that too many people are going no matter how much Disney tries to lower the amount of guests with raising prices. They need to create more capacity, such as a new theme park at disney world rather than increase the prices. This would create more demand around opening, but would eventually help.

Me and my family went to Disneyworld a few years ago and i can only remember the absolute nightmare it was all lines were over 90 minutes, all were without shade, everyone was incredibly crammed and everything was expensive as hell. And it wasn't as if it was just Florida because Universal and Kennedy space center were both delightful to be in. I've also been to Disneyland from my experience it's the better of the two there were less people so no one was crammed, enough shade to survive and every ride was completely doable in one-day without running around like a headless chicken

Currently at Disneyworld rn and it feels like it’s been just packed all the time not to mention the ungodly amounts of strollers. In my opinion, babies and toddlers should not be at Disneyworld cause all they will do is fuss and cry for a nap. Then there’s the lines for everything. Almost every place including quick service counters always has a line. It’s definitely not as fun as it used to be.

Just got back from Disney and both rocking roller coaster and space mountain where closed on the days I went to there parks I deserved the sad face thank you

Ya know, even as a 5 year old I HATED disneyland and world. Idk what it was but they just weren’t fun. I had more fun vibin with my cousin and parents in the (immaculate) hotel than fighting to get on rides and seeing my dads pained face whenever he was handed a receipt

Pro tip if you’re planning a vacation to Disney World that we learned the hard way: just go to Busch Gardens Tampa instead. It’s an actually very nice experience and much more reasonably priced.

i live in the Netherlands been to disney land paris and it was oke but i got a themepark in my own country that is just as good if not beter called efteling

went in 2019 to Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'm in my late 20s but was curious about the star wars land so I thought I give it a go. First of all I went on an early october weekday that was said to have a low crowd level online, low crowd level my a$$, minimum waits were 45min. People were everywhere and those annoying strollers getting pushed through the crowds by self entitled parents... The over 100 dollar entry free for the park shocked me, as a European I'm used to 40-60 euro entry fees. I avoided food and drinks as much as I could and only bought a slushy at the end. The theming of course was astounding, as an adult I really enjoyed Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller coaster, the Star Wars area was amazing and the rides immersive. But still, I thought as an adult (who is more into thrill stuff) there wasnt much to do except 3-4 rides that are worth it. The day after I went to Universal, which was so much better in many ways and had a blast at Volcano Bay. For adults, Universal, Busch Gardens, Sea World and Space Center are much more interesting
